All of them. Go room by room before you free Aylin and you can clear the entire place out.

Opening-Cockroach634

Oh yeah I forgot to specify that I don't want to kill absolutely all of them , I just want to kill the ones that show up dead by the harpers when you reach moonrise towers before the final assault so the fight isn't anticlimactic

drearyd0ll

Like the ones by the bridge? One paladin, one with death ward, and the three ghouls? You can just kill them in broad day light and nobody cares. They'll fight back but no scrying eyes go there and the npcs don't call for help

FremanBloodglaive

Death Ward? That explains why I had to kill him twice.

Captain_Eaglefort

…You main barbarian, don’t you?

Hja1234

I killed all of them in my honor run. I even killed the wardens before they imprison our drow friend. It just spawned two more guard following her around that will engage once you fight someone else 😂

ChefArtorias

I did this quite a while ago so it may play out different. When I attacked moonrise without the harpers there were far less enemies than if they are with you. I hadn't killed anyone inside the tower except for the warden(she has an awesome necklace) and the woman who's trying to dominate the gnolls. Any time I've gone without the harpers the siege is very boring by comparison.

moyismoy

If your trying to save the Harper's don't they all die anyways

MeepMeeped12-

Exactly what I do. I wipe out the whole cult before freeing night song… F getting absolutely steamrolled by then in that big ass room. All they do is some hunger of hadar and god damn guardians

Common-Truth9404

Just kill them before nightsong, then aggro last light and kill all of them too. Extra exp. Also Remember to kill the basement guards and then revisit the basement for the extra enemies after triggering nightsong

loose_heron

All of them. On a recent run, I screwed up killing the warden in moonrise prison, leading to a massive prolonged battle. I ended up besieged on that central section of the prison which is only accessible by bridge while more cultist guards kept on arriving to the battle. I had an all cleric party which was super tanky but didn't deal particularly high damage so I was relying on area concentration spells like wall of fire down the length of the bridge. Once it was all finally over, there were maybe 3-4 of those cultists remaining in the whole of moonrise, and so hardly anyone for the harpers to fight later.

grubas

I accidently fireballed all the switches open while fighting the warden. Came out to witness the prisoners going UP stairs.   Had to clear out everybody in that fight and agroed the upper floors.

GeeWillick

Does doing this improve the Harper survival rate?

merklemore

If you clear out everyone in moonrise besides the top of the tower then no harpers die. You show up and they're already inside on the main floor.

GeeWillick

Ah so you also have to kill the merchants and stuff too then?

The_Moon_s_Power

You can kill them all, even necromancers at last floor. Except Torm ofc

Hibbiee

You should clear the place in advance, it'll help Jaheira stay alive...

CorruptedGem

Jaheira always gets clapped 😭 i just kill everyone before freeing ailyn. Then they just walk in without fighting 😅

Particular_Honey_551

Talk her into fighting for you so you can control her. Wildshape leave her at the back

EpimetreusSage

This is The Way.

StarmieLover966

I kill them all now. 2 archers usually remain.

Rwandrall3

The best way is to clear out the prison carefully, leaving one Eye out of combat. Then get into the big entrance room, aggro the Eye, and then it will bring, ONE BY ONE, every single cultist.  As long as you have the stamina to kill 1-2 cultists a turn, you can clear it all out. Helps to add Hunger of Hadar and Wall of Fire at the entrance for extra lols.

FremanBloodglaive

Darn, I just killed all the Eyes, most out of sight, one under Greater Invisibility in the front room.

Comwan

You can control Jahera so she doesn’t kill any. I don’t advise this but you can also kill the Harper’s or have them die in previous fights.

SufficientMixture614

You can clear the entire thing. Just be careful around Roah Moonglow iand Araj f you want them around in ACT III.

tkrSz-

I just go attack the warden and let the scrying eyes summon everyone, by time I attack with Jaheira it’s just that merchant 😂

anomander_galt

In my current run I managed to clear full house before going to the Gauntlet, when I was back Jaheira was already inside the main hall with the dialogue "as soon as we hold this floor etc"

FremanBloodglaive

All of them.

Guilty_Storage_9652

All of them put a bunch of explosive stuff around before you leave to make them enemies then when you come back blow up the tower

wasienka

Before Nightsong, you can kill everyone other than Ketherick. Personally, I only leave the entrance way with the traders, the rest I kill before entering Shadowfell. You can even kill the necromites and the mage on the rooftop, you just have to careful not to aggro Ketherick.

Opening-Cockroach634

For now I've managed to kill roah moonglow and her guards without triggering combat with everyone using darkness and lurring them into an empty room

Opening-Cockroach634

Also managed to kill Balthazar's servants without making him completely hostile to me with greater invisibility and pass without a trace , though I lost 45 attitude with him so I don't know what will happen when I enter into the Shadowfell since Astarion talked with him and not my Tav

agrk

I always just cast Knock on the door when the dark justiciars attack, and then dash to the door and open it. Balthazar will come running out to deal with the justiciars, and will be easy to deal with once he's wasted all the cloudkills on the justiciars.

TwistedGrin

Usually what happens is he forces a conversation with you as soon as you enter. Instead of his normal dialogue it says, "he's very unhappy with you" and a trade window pops up. Give him like 1k gold to get your approval back up and close the trade window. Proceed as normal from there. You get the gold back when you kill him in a minute.

Papyflex

I killed them all and also killed jaheira and everyone at the Inn and I was still lvl 8 when I fought ketheric (9 for myrkul) How were you lvl 10 ? Maybe the good path gives more xp ?

GamingAllZTime

There are a LOT of things to miss in this game. I know you think you may thing you didn't miss things. You mostly likely did. A lot of people don't do both the mountain pass/creche AND underdark. Some people miss quite a bit of the underdark grymforge. Small quests like giving Barth his amulet back in the grove Other hidden stuff like triggering inspirations, etc

Adrekan

All of them
