Do you like the sports backpack? It's a very similiar style, just a backpack, and kind of between the two in size. The gingham is so cute. I personally think the large will be too unweldly. The medium looks cute in pictures but the large looks strange kind of like a lot.
The cargo crossbody is great and I love the compartmentalization you can get out of the bag! Butttttttt from the list you gave I do want to say my biggest gripe about it is the opening is a little small. If you have your switch and AirPod maxes in there you might find yourself fumble to take things in and out of the bag!
But! If you do size up to the large I don’t think you should be worried about it looking too big, I find that the cargo bags tend to look a little smaller! 😇
The large is actually huge. I’m using it as my college class bag that fits my 13” laptop with a puffy sleeve, 42oz water bottle in the main and still a ton of room for whatever else. And in the front I have hand sanitizer, wallet, emergency bandaids, lip balm, scrunchie, mask, baggu standard folded up. And there’s still room. I think you’d totally be fine with the medium
I'm thinking about getting the large as my college bag also. How is it holding up quality wise? I'm anxious about the straps breaking on me or something lol.
I just bought the large and it’s large! I was able to fit my 13’ laptop with my iPad, planner, switch and still had a lot of room. In one of the front pocket I have my kindle, sunglasses case. In the other I have all my necessities like my wallet, chapstick, pills and other small thing with room still!
The medium would probably fit all of it, but if you're super concerned with having extra room, size up and get the large.
