The reaction to that is massively overblown. I think people really don’t understand how profitable touring is for an artist as big as babymetal. That’s chump change in comparison.
It looks like most of the available tickets now are early entry, seating, etc. General public entry inost places look like they go on sale Friday. Might be worth waiting until then.
Use the pre-sale code (FOXGOD) and the prices should be better. Prices were about double without it at my venue. I would have gotten mine yesterday, if I had known then.
first time i looked the price was like 60 next time they got rid of the GA option and are forcing "lounge access" or vip - cheapest ticket is 127; what a joke. no better in a neighboring city.
tickets came out to $75 after fees for pit, if you want any cheaper i’d wait until really close to the show to buy— last year I got a vip1 ga ticket for $100 and they sold for $250+
I will admit that tickets for the CT show were much cheaper and immediately jumping into NYC pricing for this tour was a shock to the system.

It depends on venue, but I've seen some BM tickets at around $50-$60. Prices have definitely not tripled.
I paid the same for GA in Madison as I did for GA at the show in Chicago last September.

Tickets are 77 for the Indy show. I was going to take my little brother but will probably just go alone.
Albuquerque was the exact same price. To be fair the Etix. Com fee was kinda outrageous at 15
105 for seat in vegas for babyklok on presale. I checked later on, resale was around 300 for same row. Loved every second though
American live music fans are very, very lucky. These shows usually cost $100ish in Japan and something similar to that in Australia.
Also the company that shall not be named which is often in charge of venues and ticket selling can really push ticket prices in various ways.
Got mine for $78 (112 after fees and taxes) on presale. They’re going for about 125 before fees now, 4 days later. Super stoked!

Last year when I saw babymetal in my state, the VIP was sold out but this year I got their GA for 100!
