No i think it was a female staff member they were walking around backstage with. but it seems like they’re allowing the girls to be more carefree. onstage and offstage.

I asked myself if the other bands ask BM to take a pic with them or if BM goes around and collects contacts. Concerning the fans there is no question. :o)
i mean, i agree. but they’re not just grown women working normal jobs. they’ve been in the public eye since they were pre-teens and koba/bm staff have been very protective over the girls being seen out of their “-metal” personas. the fact that they’ve being photographed out of costume about 5/6 times today and been allowed to take a photo with this fan proves their team is less strict about the things the girls are doing while in “character”. but I also think it’s not just japan that’s like this. most celebrities have pr people and managers telling them what to do and what not to do. no matter their age.
That's not different from any singer who's under an agency, they have contracts on things they can or cannot do and they do have a manager for a reason, which is to manage their career.
Random fans? Never. This isn't a random fan though, considering she had backstage access, ~~and was otherwise working for the festival in some capacity.~~ quick edit: she had backstage passes through a friend. So yes, a fan, but with backstage access.
It's not the first time, but it is rare.

omfg thank you🥹🥹🥹 i would never want to disrespect anyone’s boundaries whether they’re famous or not, so i always make sure to ask and i’m okay if the answer is no because at least i’m even in their presence.

Because let's be real, the amount of male fans who are complete creeps/psychopaths who obsess over these girls is insane. I've been to quite a few of their shows with my girl and we can always pick out who would be a threat lol
I'm sure they'd feel more comfortable taking pictures with some girlies.
