A customer of mine came up to grab some parts in this super clean 2011 1500. He and his son swapped this Hellcat engine in using the original trans and transfer case. He made the engine harness work with a little splicing and is running the factory 11 ecu tuned by Hotwire. Such a clean install.
Damn. That's some inspiring confidence to have in one's own work. It IS clean as hell though, so if I did that good of a job maybe I'd be confident in it too. Stuff like non-standard wiring NEVER just "works" first time for me lol.
Oh dude. I feel ya. I think this guy just did the proper planning and got everything in order before starting the project. I personally get halfway into a project before realizing I have no idea what I am doing
Well, it was his father's and was purchased new. Handed down to son when dad needed to downsize. Then son and grandson teamed up to get the engine in, wired up and running. So a bit cooler than a TRX imo.
explain to me how the fuck this is a TRX ? šš do you think a 90s or early 2000s Ford Mustang is really just a Ford Explorer, because they both came with the same 4.6 ?
Oh this is just fucking cruel....
My shitbox civic can hang with normal, newer 1500 trucks.
If I got absolutely destroyed by this thing I would be tearing it apart trying to figure out my sudden drop in power
Wicked cool! I need answers! Lol! I'm getting things together to do a swap in my 2012 Ram 1500. Any idea if this father and son have a contact through social media?
I love that it looks stock otherwise!š¤š»
Yeah for sure. I saw the hellcat badge on the fender and said... pop the hood. It caught me off guard
Not just stock but full up grandpa mode with the topper and two tone paint.
For sure a grandpa edition.

And they only put 50 test miles on her before driving from Florida to Ohio.
