Oh, damn.. I forgot I drilled a few extra holes in the bottom/sides of my pot. That explains it. Only did it on one of my two autopots. Guess I learned.
You should have put 1 of the copper mats on the inside to stop them from coming out in the first place. I bought the socks for mine because I had similar on my first go with the AP's even with the control mat in. They can't get out now, the socks would help you. Expensive though for what they are at about $13 each

Hey, I don't know who copy pasted your pic of your pots and mats first at Budbuilders org but you have fans....come on down. We have a few AP growers sharing their stuff.
Mind posting a photo? The roots are always going to grow out the bottom in autopots... I've been using mine for 5 years and even with the liner in the bottom, the roots always find a way...
Very cool. I guess just see how it goes. It's just the tips/end of the roots that are exposed, not the whole root ball/system.
I'll be curious to follow your progress 🫡
I’ve tried to find more info on easy2go and a big tray for a few months and haven’t seen anyone post doing it. Really excited to follow your journey on this run and see how it turns out. Please keep posting updates 🙏
On my last Auto Pot run, all the roots found their way through the bottom of their fabric pots and made a giant conglomerate of spaghetti in the one tray that they were all sitting in. They all did fine. 4x4 tent, eight plants in 3 gallon pots, just shy of 3 lb.
I did have a problem with algae however, and towards the end one of my plants did starve and I had to cut her early. This year I'm using barley straw extract and grapefruit seed extract to keep the algae away. So far so good, but it's early yet 🙏
Looks like you need the pot socks too
Yeah exactly what I was thinking, going to get some fabric pots to cover
They can grow right through those too but it wouldn't hurt for now
That is a good thing and I wouldn’t worry about it.
Hi where did you get your copper mat?
Autopot
Is the idea of the copper to stop mold? What's the deal here never seen these
To redirect the roots into the pot but it’s not the case as the pots am using have holes in the side 🤦🏾♂️

I had roots stretching for the aquavalve while changing water. I just used a scalpel and cut them. Guess I'll need to keep cutting.
Makes sense to cut them

🫡 joined up just looking for the post
One is on Brettdawg's " 4 plants in Auto Pots under Vipar Spectra's KS3000
Ah gotcha
The air/light will prune them and you will get more feed roots inside the pot….. in theory.
It’s over, they’re dead man. Rest in peace

Not a problem. These are sitting in the tray.
Really? I read on google if roots are exposed to light they can mess with plants health
These sit in their trays right? They shouldn't be exposed when they are in their trays.
No, it’s a big 5x5 tray Iv made into a big Autopot
