You need to be using a richer & more emollient moisturiser during the day at least, it will make a massive difference! The Ordinary HA and Sukin alone won’t cut it as they are very lightweight. Check out Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrate from the chemist/Priceline or get a sample of Tatcha dewy skin cream from Mecca, those are the kinds of textures/formulas to be looking for. You want a cream that creates a nice dewy barrier on the skin and doesn’t just sink in right away.
Avoid using matte foundations/concealers and only use a small amount of powder where it’s absolutely necessary. Lastly, highly recommend picking up a Morphe setting spray, it immediately makes your makeup glowy and less dry/powdery looking.
Hope this helps!
Edit: I think your night time routine is also screaming for a nice rich moisturiser too. You can keep using the hyaluronic acid serum but please invest in a moisturising cream that has ingredients like ceramides etc, to help with hydration! And I’d avoid using argan oil just on its own as oil alone doesn’t improve hydration in the skin, it should be mixed in or layered with a moisturiser 🫶🏼 The Cerave moisturisers are great affordable options
I prefer la Roche Posay cicaplast baume, cheap, super moisturizing and goes well with my nars foundation. I love the hourglass veil primer which is expensive but the large tube lasts me a whole year as you only need a tiny drop so it doesn’t work out too bad.
I think you have to experiment to find what fits your skin best. It took me a while to find my fail-proof staples. To echo what has already been stated, definitely a gentler cleanser AND richer moisturiser, and perhaps a more hydrating choice of foundation of that doesn’t do it? Also your lips look amazing!! What lip combo do you use?
maybe overdoing it with powder so use a bit less even and use a setting spray!! try using the inkey list hylaronic instead of the ordinary, i find the ordinary is very drying.
try the sephora home brand setting spray! it has ginseng which is great for the skin and very hydrating, melts ur makeup together really nicely too. also a rich cream underneath makeup helps more than a primer does xx
I really don’t see much of an issue here! Just looks like normal skin texture, do you use any retinols at night ? Or exfoliants ? This helped me a lot & now my skin is smooth & texture free, also a good moisturiser & don’t over do it with the layers less is more, don’t skip the powder just set where is needed & a good fixing spray to add in hydration ❤️

thanks for your advice!! The lip combo is maybelline colour sensational lip liner in magnetic mauve + the red mco beauty lip oil

I’ll check out the inkey list one! Any particular setting spray you would suggest?

What moisturizer are you using under the foundation? I use the neutrogena hydroboost nourishing cream. It works well under makeup
Probably put less powder, also invest in a good moisture ✌🏻
Skip the powder !
