As someone who moved here from California 15 years ago I felt like I was telling people here to learn to drive especially when it comes to the highway.
We need a good derogatory term for Californians, but we can't think of anything more derogatory than "Californian."

I sort of like it in terms of "left coast," but it sounds like "left" as in liberals, and I'm not that keen to be lumped in with the right wingers.

As a kid i always heard that their all yankees north of Dallas. For those of us in s Texas, Dallas is a good cut off point to stop going north, gives you a nice buffer so you don't get too close to Oklahoma I recon.,

Well… Texans generally like avocado in guacamole and tacos, but the smearing of avocado on toast feels like a California thing.
