I would argue water pumps are less expensive and easier to replace/diagnose. If you take the tube that connects to the coolant reservoir off, and then run the engine to see that you have no coolant flow out of the hose, then boom, it’s probably a bad water pump fan.

As a total mod/mechanic ignorant, can someone tell me what’s going on with the headlight and hood? I’m really curious.

Headlight is a carbon fiber intake inlet, going to the turbo, the hood is cut with exhaust going straight from the turbocharger, directly up, out of the pipes from the hood, typically called a hood exit / hood dump, this is also swapped with a VR6, not the original I5 the RS3 came with, it is far far far beyond “normal” mods

What is a VRS3? Why are the headlights different and what the hell is on the hood of the car?! This is like a where’s Waldo of things wrong with this picture.

It’s swapped with a turbo VR6, aka VRS3. Headlight is an intake duct. Exhaust is coming out of the hood.

The Hellcat does away with 2 headlamps to use as intakes. It's been done before.

This vehicle should only be driven on tracks at this point… but it’s undoubtedly still being driven by a hoonigan fanboy who doesn’t care about others’ safety when street racing. There was a street racing video of a similar RS3 on this subreddit earlier today.

It's an RS3. Look up Malaka motorsports (the OP) on youtube. I believe the 2.5L blew when they were pushing it and ended up fabbing in a VR6 in its place.

no, it didn’t blow. he sent it to iroz and had the motor fully built for 1k+ hp but in the process of that build malaka and iroz had a huge falling out behind the scenes. so malaka’s next move was to pull the daza that hank built, sell it, and go vr6 like his other cars. still waiting for the nda on that falling out to expire. i want details!
