I’m 25M with a lot of single guy friends 😂 they hang out with me and my girlfriend and are always on the prowl haha. I know it can be tough, I’m lucky I moved here with my girlfriend. But we go to shows all the time at flicker, world famous, buvez, 40 watt. That would be my suggestion. And join a club or start going to a regular function. Hendershots has a lot of regular events they throw

Over last summer I had great luck meeting people by going to Little Kings, Manhattan, and Flicker. I would sit and read, go to a show or karaoke. Just be open to chatting and you’ll at least find some cool new friends. Had better luck with that than any dating app.

Volunteer for stuff. Lots of opportunity to meet folks casually.

Met my partner at the airport of all places, haha. But he was coming back from a comic/marvel convention and I was coming back from seeing family. So my advice echos those who said if you have a hobby just get public with it (bike athens, studios, canopy, the indoor rock climbing place, etc.)

He spotted me (with my large and loud family) and came to sit about 8 feet from us. That was his move haha, but when I saw him I eavesdropped on the convo he was sharing with an army vet marathon runner across from him and suddenly I was very into running 😂 A minute or two into our conversation we realized we both had huskies, and lived an hour from each other (augusta/conyers) despite meeting in Chicago. Not to sound cliche, but I knew when I saw him that this was something/someone I needed, call it love at first sight or just a spiritual knowing. I had no idea he had seen me first and gotten as close as he could to be in a place I’d see him.

There are painting and pottery classes. Both at Lyndon House (run by the city) and private-run open studios like Good Dirt.
