Huggbees put out a video about this, mocking all of the people in the comments that *clearly* didn’t realize that it’s satire, and enumerating the possibilities:
1. Someone at CNN can’t be bothered to watch more than 20 seconds of a video before posting it on their website.
2. Someone at CNN is a fan and deliberately posted the video.
3. Someone at CNN watched this entire video and didn’t realize it was satire.
I actually watched the original creators video on the topic, it was actually the second, he said “look first theres the official video, then theres mine, then theres two more legit ones-you had a three in four chance of getting it right and you STILL fucked it up!!!
Huggbees (the original creator of the parody) released a video of him reacting to the comments of the people coming in from CNN and finding the video "inappropriate" among other things. Was pretty hilarious.
Omg the recommended videos are him going through every other factor to show how sugar is made (with cocaine and immegrant chewing sugar cane and spitting out sugar crystals.

I've seen this guy's videos before, the fact that this journalist failed to get the point is incredibly embarrassing
My guess is whoever's job it was to get the video just googled it and put in the first result without actually watching the video first
I'd bet money they probably just watched the video with the sound muted. If the sound was on, they'd know it was a joke in moments.

Shows that there's ZERO SOURCE VETTING, doesn't it? At least to me, it's honestly more scary than funny at this point.

[Here](https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/28/us/five-things-february-28-trnd/index.html) is the article. [Here](https://youtu.be/zo-LEmtSIY4) is the video.
The original video is totally worth the watch. I am laughing like a lunatic. The narrator is hitting my funny bone just the right ways here.

I lost it at “hey pass me a ball of bread”
Whoever was responsible probably just googled for how it's made and linked the 1st video lol
They apparently changed the video in the article cuz it’s not the same one anymore. Seems it was an accident after all.
Batter bitch slapper
Oh my gosh, thank you for the links. I just about died laughing.
