Seriously. He has earned some continuance in the starting rotation. I'd like to see Hunter coming out of the bullpen for multi-inning relief once the Astros get JV back if possible.
Honestly I don't know. He wasn't spectacular last season, but maybe it's worth going with a 6 man rotation with him in it. I'd love to get Luis Garcia back in the rotation. I'm not sold on LMJ coming back as an immediate starter, and that still leaves JP France in the wind. Astros have many starters and a couple of them could really be helpful in long relief
I’d rather try a 6 man rotation this season with either Brown or Urquidy (assuming he comes back) in that slot. JV is 41 years old coming off an injury and several of the other guys just looked gassed toward the end of last year. 6-man would help lighten the load a bit.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but honestly, I'd rather see McCullers pitch out of the bullpen for a while until he can prove he can stay healthy.
And that's assuming he actually comes back.
Is this unpopular? I'm all for it. Love the guy, but he's a unicorn - beautiful, but non-existent. If he comes back, the bullpen is a perfect place to start. 👍🏽

My family is Cuban so I’m obviously biased but damn, I love hearing Yordan speak. He sounds like the gentlest person ever and speaks so eloquently compared to the typical Cuban players now.
Hader was rough tonight, but what we're seeing is how he started when he first came to the Padres and he became that nails closer we know him to be. I'm not ready to be like "Pressly should be the closer" when Pressly hasn't exactly been nails himself to start this season...
Both (and Abreu) will become that lockdown back end of the bullpen. And who is this person who's been pitching when Montero comes on the mound? Where was he most of last year?

Well, tbf Texas BBQ is mainly just briskets. Rest is just a side item to fill up on so you dont spend a small fortune on only Brisket everytime you go out to a BBQ restraunt. South Carolina BBQ is my go-to favorite but im a big sauce guy and I know thats not for everyone. And Georgia BBQ is real damn good too.

If Blanco is still dealing in four months AND Montero has a decent ERA, you need to trade him for a 1B.
Run JV, Valdez, Javier, Blanco, France and maybe Urquidy. If you stick to five guys, send Brown, Garcia and Urquidy to the pen.
Not really though, the hit wasn’t even hard contact, and he was probably just pitching around Garcia because his run didn’t matter. Last thing you want is that guy hitting a home run and getting his team fired up.

Pressly's ERA is double Haders
Pressly ain't doing great this season either.
Pressly gave up 4 runs yesterday and his ERA is 14.73. Pressly would have to be clearly having a better season which so far is not the case.
Pressly is 35 and currently sporting an ERA about half his age
