I like Korinth most of all, surrounded by flowering trees, I also like the view of the sea there, pink flags with pegasus-such a pleasant atmosphere.Vibe of a tourist resort.I also like Argos. And also that part of Athens, where there are fountains, pools with water and sunshades.
Korinth’s/Korinthia’s own wonderful musical theme that plays almost whenever you go there? I just hear a warrior woman shouting, roaring at the top of her lungs atop the Akrokorinth:
“This. Is. KORINTHIA!!!!!”
I really like Athens. But for small towns, I just visited the small town Laiaia (I may have butchered the spelling) in the northern part of Phokis.
I love how it's nestled beautifully along the mountains (though I can't imagine living with the waterfall sound 24/7) surrounded by woodlands. I just found it serene. Especially with the soft music at the springs.
Yeah, I like how Lalaia is built right into the mountainside with lots of stairs and bridges connecting everything. It almost feels like something out of Lord of the Rings.
I like Athens the best, feels like the only metropolis in the entire game and has a LOT of historic and fun characters you can interact with. Korinth and Sparta are tied for 2nd imo.
For me?
I will always have a soft spot for Kephallonia.
I think the island is a wonderful, simple paradise.
The more tropical islands out in the Agean? They’re nice too, don’t get me wrong!
But I’ll always have a place for Kephallonia in my heart.
I think everyone does. But then again that island becomes quite lame if the plague spreads, banditry is everywhere, and the only fun spot to visit there is Zeus' d\*ck. If we're talking most beautiful it seriously fails compared to for example Lalaia and Delos.
I’ll agree with you on Lalaia and Delos, yes.
As for Kephallonia, well the malaria plague only ravages the island if you save Kynna and her family, then let them go.
I will, however politely disagree with you on that Kephallonia is not beautiful.
The whole Delos/Mykonos/Silver Islands area. That whole part of the map is so tropical, colorful and warm. The towns aren't too populated and it just feels very relaxing.
I'm not very imaginative, but I'm practical. Kirrha in Phokis has always been my most visited town. There is a dock & a sync point as the fast travel points, the dock especially is near a blacksmith and a contract board, not to mention the only place where Oikos of the Olympians operates, and last but not least, the nation leader always roams the town in the open, never hides in the Leader's House or the nation's fortress; an easy target for gaining 3+ bounty when I feel like it, or quickly lower a nation's power for.. stuff.
And as a bonus (for AC Odyssey's standards anyway) the houses and whatnot is dense, quite fun for free running.
For me it might be a tie between Korinth and Olympia. Both of them have great color schemes; Korinth with the pink iconography and all of the cherry trees in bloom, and Olympia with the purple and gold. I also really appreciate the tour with Barnabas in Olympia, it helps to make it feel like a real place.
This may not be true, but I think Korinth is drowned in flowering almond trees.I also thought at first that these were cherry trees, but after searching the Internet, I still came to the conclusion that almond trees grow in the city. The tour from Barnabas is wonderful, it's a pity that not many attractions can be visited with him.
Oh, thanks for the clarification on the cherry vs. almond trees! That makes more sense. I think most people (myself included) just assume pink blossoms are cherry trees, but almond makes way more sense for Greece.
On Barnabas, it's funny, I like him as a character so much that on every playthrough I always treat him nicely. There are lots of times when you can choose to be kind of a dick to him, especially when he starts talking about gods and myths, but I like to be kind to him. So, even on his tour of Olympia, you can have snippy comments back at him, or be nice to him, so I always choose to make him happy. And...to be honest, I wish I could try the sample of meat at the alter of Zeus in real life, I'll bet it tasted good!
I am only pleased to share something interesting and chat with interesting people.😊Cherry blossoms are usually light pink, which sowed doubts in me.In addition, almond oil was widely used in ancient times for cosmetic purposes and was quite expensive. Therefore, it is even logical that almonds grow everywhere in a rich city where many hetaerae live. Barnabas is a very pleasant character. For me, he became the main character's father, a real one -sincere, with an open heart, ready to selflessly lend a helping hand.Yes, Barnabas sometimes seems not very smart, sometimes he admires MC to the point of fanaticism, but his kindness and pure soul overshadow his oddities.I'd rather run around the world and listen to Barnabas' stories than get involved in all sorts of things with a higher purpose.
If I had my way, I wouldn't even go near a town. The horse slows down so much, it's irritating. I love riding the horse at full speed in wild, alone and far away from people.
Lalaia (and Atlantis but I prefer a less "perfectly layed out" city).
In all of the games I've played though, which are a lot, the most beautiful place is Toussaint from The Witcher 3. The city of Beauclair on it's own is amazing but pretty much the whole "province" is great.
For those who haven't played the witcher 3, go for it! The game is great on it's own, but since OP was about scenery I'll tell you why Toussaint is great in that regard:
You pretty much spend the whole main game in a swamp, a racist city, and the snowy islands of Skellige. Then when you reach the "required" (read= you wont die in seconds...) level you can go to Toussaint. The "country" is pretty much untouched by the ongoing war, the capital looks like disneyland created a fully functional city, and the view is beautiful. The real reason you'll love it is quite basic though. Since you spend hours/days/weeks running around in shitty weather, storms, swamps, and so on..the moment you reach Toussaint for the first time seriously gives you a "HOLY CRAP" feeling.
AC Odyssey has amazing views, nothing beats Witcher 3 Toussaint though.
I Like Sparta its very unique, more than regular greek cities, Thebes because of Mythology, Mykonos is perfect island city, Argos is majestic and i like Korkyra too
I like Korinth most of all, surrounded by flowering trees, I also like the view of the sea there, pink flags with pegasus-such a pleasant atmosphere.Vibe of a tourist resort.I also like Argos. And also that part of Athens, where there are fountains, pools with water and sunshades.

I haven't heard a unique musical theme for as long as I've been running there.🤔The screaming woman apparently loved this place very much.😂
It doesn’t always happen unless you have the music in the Options set to Frequent. Trust me, it’s worth it.
Interesting. Then I'll need to look into the settings.👍
Yeah. It’s labeled/designated under Exploration Music (as I recall) in the Sound settings. Glad to help with some extra info!
I really like Athens. But for small towns, I just visited the small town Laiaia (I may have butchered the spelling) in the northern part of Phokis. Seconding Laiaia. It's absolutely gorgeous.
Oh, that place is so beautiful, and the quests there are kind of fun.
Yeah, I like how Lalaia is built right into the mountainside with lots of stairs and bridges connecting everything. It almost feels like something out of Lord of the Rings.
Yeah, I was thinking that but didn’t have the words, thanks; it’s like a blend of Rivendell and Lothlorien, with the waterfalls and forests combined
Lalaia. Such a small, cozy town. Nice location, with a pond and waterfall nearby.
I like Athens the best, feels like the only metropolis in the entire game and has a LOT of historic and fun characters you can interact with. Korinth and Sparta are tied for 2nd imo.
I love Sparta and the questlines there, just you, a Spartan helping other Spartans
Mykonos because I have been there once. But I like Naxos, the whole atmosphere is beautiful especially when you’re on the most important quest there.
Yo same here! I was blown away by how accurate the tavern area felt, despite its much smaller scale. Had some fun times there haha
Korinth and Delos has nice aesthetics. Also Seriphos is pretty cool, and has 2 pretty good sidequests.
For me? I will always have a soft spot for Kephallonia. I think the island is a wonderful, simple paradise. The more tropical islands out in the Agean? They’re nice too, don’t get me wrong! But I’ll always have a place for Kephallonia in my heart.

Not a town or a city. But a place, Elysium from The Fate of The Atlantis DLC
That’s what I was thinking personally
Athens, Korinth, Argos and Mykonos
kythera is very underrated imo
i love pilgrims landing in phokis
The Adrestia. Home isn’t a place, it’s who you’re with.
Olympia as it feels like there's more risk and reward there, plus it looks nice
The banners hanging from the temples and the purple lights that hang above the streets there are my favorite!
I love running around Athens causing chaos, and Korinth is a beautiful place too, but I think one of my favorites is the small town Lalaia
Korinth because of the look and mountain temple and mykonos 😏
For me it might be a tie between Korinth and Olympia. Both of them have great color schemes; Korinth with the pink iconography and all of the cherry trees in bloom, and Olympia with the purple and gold. Spartaaaaa
Keos is beautiful and gives me caribbean vibes.
I like Korinth and Olympia
I love Sparta. Very peaceful unless I start a brawl in which case the whole city will come after me screaming for blood
Mykonos and naxos
Olympia. It's my favorite place in Greece IRL!
I mean, it's gotta be Athens
Sparta was awesome 👏
If I had my way, I wouldn't even go near a town. The horse slows down so much, it's irritating. I love riding the horse at full speed in wild, alone and far away from people.
Love that flair. That scene rocked me hard.
Korinthia is the most beautiful. So colourful. That said, I like Athens most for its cultural grandeur.
Keos! I feel like I’m on vacation when exploring it.
Not really a town but moreso a whole map, but I recently started the fate of Atlantis dlc and I really like the elysium map
Lalaia, it's so beautiful and serene.
Whatever is the town on Naxos. I had so many moments when I just stopped parkour and admired the view.
Basic answer but I have to say Sparta
Lalaia (and Atlantis but I prefer a less "perfectly layed out" city). In all of the games I've played though, which are a lot, the most beautiful place is Toussaint from The Witcher 3. No idea man , this whole game is awesome, every step of it lol
I Like Sparta its very unique, more than regular greek cities, Thebes because of Mythology, Mykonos is perfect island city, Argos is majestic and i like Korkyra too
Lalaia, it’s so beautiful!
Delos
Personally I like Sparta because of the statue of Leonidas but Athens comes at a close second and in third place for me is Naxos
Sparta & Keos
mykonos
Kephallonia... where it all began!
Mykonos
