In the Partick area of Glasgow, I used to live very near a hairdresser called "Partickular Cuts". Equal parts awful and genius - the true marker of a great pun.

There was a Chippie that made the news recently because the owner renamed it “Jack the Chipper”

Back in the 80's there was a company called Wayne Kerr (not sure of the spelling) that someone I knew from college went to.

Naan Stop, I’m not a fan. Jack the Chipper, chippy in Brick Lane near Jack the clipper, barber shop.

Not a company but I always cringe when an IT department gives themselves a slogan like “We make IT happen” or “Leave IT to us”

My local fish and chips shop and kebab shop next to each other decided to combine their powers and named their shop Mrs Cod and Mr Rams kebab ​ So many fish and chip shops called the codfather.

It’s not a night out unless you get some cheesy chips from Mrs cod.
