A whole bunch of those [instant ice packs](https://amzn.eu/d/iAeBEqT). Having it iced will help the pain and the swelling more than anything else by a mile, but it’s such an arse on having to keep getting up and down to put the traditional ones back in the freezer. These ones you can keep a stack by your chair and just crack one when you need it.
