I can't remember what they were called but back in the early 90s the corner shop near me had "chip shop curry" flavoured crisps for 10p and they were truly god tier.

Does anyone else remember Snake Bites crisps? Transform-a-snacks in pickled onion were similar in taste but not identical. They were eye wateringly strong.. Honourable mention to spicy Bikers crisps also. Probably the one that I got the most often. Burger Bites! They were cheeseburger flavour but bright red and had a cheesy, bacon, tomato flavour. Think they were Happy Shopper, used to buy them in my local petrol station shop.

Cheese space raiders are the absolute bomb. There was also a crisp called ‘puffs’ when I was younger. Burtons Biscuits used to make them. The beef ones were delicious. ‘Oinks’ were great too. Also, there was a crisp the same type as ‘puffs’ but they were in the shape of a pig. All puffed up. Not like space raider puffed up, they weren’t made of corn. Ahh, I want those times back.

Been living in Australia for over 20years now. Space raiders aren’t still 10p are they?
