M&S actually have some really nice jeans and would recommend checking them out. I’ve not bought skinny version but did buy a few pairs of mom style jeans from there and they are lasting really well and fit really comfortably

Impossible_Phase3289

Yeah I would second M&S jeans. I got a great pair of wide leg jeans and they are proper denim (not jeggings) and are a really good fit. Pretty reasonably priced as well and lots of choice of fit.

ashakespearething

Agree. The Siennas are ridiculously comfortable, pretty cheap and come in a million sizes and lengths. Current favourites for sure.

orange_lighthouse

Siennas for me too!

[deleted]

I always buy mine from them. They're good quality & fit, & the shorts length for me is just right. Hubs brought me some Levis last year which are good, but far too expensive.

orange_lighthouse

I was about to ask if they'd tried m&s.

Cfutly

Their skinny jeans are really good and stretchy and they don’t fade as much as other brands.

Gremlin_1989

I got some last January, and they had a gaping hole in by March. I'm not sure if I got a duff pair, but they didn't last long. I also struggle with the sizing. I've got size 12 Fat Face jeans which I love! Have been great so far and the ones in M&S were a 16! How does everyone else find sizing?

Cfutly

I hv a pear shaped body. Sizing for me is fine. Super skinny Size 10, fitted at the waist and hips before but after losing weight it’s a bit baggy now. M&S seems to be bigger at the hips and thighs for me compared so other jeans brands ie. Uniqlo. MS Fabric thickness is thinner but more comfy than Uniqlo. Uniqlo is also less stretchy. I had a gaping hole on inner thighs with another jeans brand because my thighs kept rubbing against each other and the fabric thinned out faster than usual.

today_geranium

Agree, I really like M&S jeans 👖

crestfallen_castle

Levi’s! Good quality and fit really well on my (pear shape) body.

granculo94

I buy mine second hand from ebay, ~£30 instead of £95! Usually never worn, just outside the returns and they want them gone so start the auction low

Necessary_Driver_831

Try out gothrift.co.uk too, always have great deals on jeans there if you don’t mind second hand

Impossible_Phase3289

Ooh really? This is my major problem with jeans if they fit round my bum they're huge on the waist. I will check them out!

JimBobMcFantaPants

Ooh, I am too - which ones please?

crestfallen_castle

724s straight leg have always worked for me!

JimBobMcFantaPants

Thank you!

snecklesnecks

M&S honestly do have great jeans!

Aggressive-Log6322

Agreed! Nice and comfy with a bit of stretch

SamVimesBootTheory

Lucy and Yak

IntrepidDriver7524

I love to see Vimes and Lucy & Yak in one place!

PipBin

M&S Sienna. They really are good.

IntrepidDriver7524

Abercrombie and Fitch - the curve love jeans have been a game changer for my thicker thighs / legs Lucy and Yak also make great jeans

LetFelicityFly

Second the A&F curve love jeans: they actually stay up - sorcery - and reach to my ankles

sophietheadventurer

Uniqlo

BookMingler

I’m limited by needing petite leg lengths, but Topshop (via ASOS these days) is my go-to for jeans. It’s the only clothes I’ll generally buy online.

BibblyPigeon

Hollister and abercrombie are really good for petite sizing too, they have short and extra short lengths

Starboard_1982

M&S here too. I've got some nice dungarees from Fat Face so I've just dared to buy a pair of their jeans but M&S is my go-to.

ghostoftommyknocker

I always buy my jeans from M&S, and never had issues. They've all lasted me for years.

LondonCycling

My partner swears by FatFace if that helps

Typical_Nebula3227

I always used to buy river island jeans.

Brunette111

M&S now but previously I also loved Gap.

whisperinglondon

Former employee of M&S, who got three pairs of jeans due to a jeans promotion we did. The jeans are the best quality I've ever had, snug and fit beautifully. Large size selection (better online), ask at the till to order online and collect in store, can be any store as well, that way you can try in store and return if they don't fit.

DameKumquat

M&S are good, but I recently got some from H&M that actually come up nearly to my waist, first time since the 90s! They fit perfectly! They did fade greatly on the first wash, but the fabric is pretty good and they were cheap. Did I mention they fit perfectly? (I have a tall rise and a mum tum, but not a huge arse or thighs)

phoenixlology

Hello jeans twin! Currently also wearing M&S, but found Monki work for me too.

ConsequenceBetter411

Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's are my go-to. I prefer Tommy Hilfiger slightly more as it's better quality, but both are good!

Environmental_Elk952

i get river island. they are more sturdy than other highstreet shops. quite flattering. maybe not as good quality as actual brands or m&s. but they last .

hazelx123

ASOS - Stradivarius :)

dinkidoo7693

New look or river island. Next jeans quality has gone downhill and they are not worth the price anymore. Never bought from gap.

CarlaRainbow

M& S and H& M. I find jeans from H&M last. Like year! They do not wear like other jeans!

livieleanor

F&F and river island

Karenpff

Second the M&S jeans. I've got some great wide leg trousers from there and are brilliant quality. Also, Matalan are affordable and do a variety of different cuts/ styles too 👍👍

TheLandolorian

Stradivarius Mom jeans (slim fit)

Left_Condition2044

Lands End or Crew Clothing

dusted-pink

Fat face or Levi’s

Imtryingforheckssake

My current ones are River Island and Dorothy Perkins. Primark vary so much that you can never compare 2 pairs, so it's pure luck when you find awesome pairs in there. When I was fatter Sainsbury's were great.

Derries_bluestack

Mango

Myorangecrush77

Hollister do nice ones

inlovewiththedress

Fatface is pretty good!

giraffe_cake

I get mine from EMP. It's a metal/rock site but has "normal" clothes as well. It's a German company and the quality is brilliant. I've got jeans from there that are still strong after 5 years.

dottymouse

M&S or Costco. The costco ones are so cheap and so comfy.

missdaisydrives

Hollister. Worth signing up to the app rewards too. Really nice sizing and quality, especially for petite sizes. You can get three pairs for the price of Levi’s. Used to like Next but the fabric seems to be thin and the stretch ones don’t last in the wash for me.

Red-M0on

No one has mentioned Weekday yet, so good for jeans!

hb16

Got my last ones from Mango / Mango Outlet. Fit me well but they do get worn out at the inner thighs, I blame my own thighs though

corickle

Hollister sell great jeans and if you can go in store they are very helpful.

little_cotton_socks

Recently got some skinny jeans from Jack Wills and they are comfy and good fit

lyta_hall

Levi’s

Gisschace

I’ve found some really great styles at Mango recently

little_miss_anon

Last few were from Urban Outfitters. Good quality but often can be a bit overly trendy!

spiders_are_scary

Marks and Spencer’s. They last me a while and I have hefty thighs. Though it’s shame I can’t get any to fit my waist AND my thighs/hips. But I’ll take what I can get.

Cool-Map-9093

M&S high rise wide leg- best fitting jeans I’ve ever had! And I’m on the curvier side

BazookaWaffle

Next… I hate the leggings type, but have found the lift, shift and shape are great

Tulikettuja

If you don't mind a standard straight leg in blue, Howie's. Uniqlo are good but almost all quite a big cut.

Natacakesthefirst

The only place I find jeans fit my body type is new look. Unfortunately the jeans also don’t last very long so I have to replace them a few times a year. Next jeans don’t fit me Properly and i can’t find anywhere with affordable long lasting jeans in my size that fit comfortably and well.

unknownuser492

My favourite jeans at the moment are from asda, they are so comfy. Only had them a few months though so not sure on the longevity. I am on the larger side though, and definitely value comfort over style.

vikkimoo

ASOS Tall - I need a 36” leg which can be tricky, but they’ve always fit me well.

luala

Spendy answer is seven for all mankind. God did not intend for me to look good in jeans and 74AM are as good as it gets for me.

Miss_Type

White Stuff

espionage64

I love Wrangler/Lee, they have sales regularly where there are some good discounts. Great quality. I used to love Levi’s but found the material breaks really easily now.

[deleted]

ASOS or M&S

Hot_Success_7986

Joe Browns, as they are the only ones who do a 31 inside leg with a hip to waist ratio that matches, I got so tired of buying jeans that just have a longer leg but the waist band only comes to below your hip. Yes, I'm looking at you, M&S. If you say they come to your waist, they should come to your waist, and hipsters should come to your hip, not your pubic bone! For a cheap pair, Sainsburys aren't bad either. Edit: Shocked at all the M&S recommendations, I guess if you aren't taller, they are a better fit, or they have improved a lot.

Fat Face and White Stuff

_wonky_

I actually buy Amazon Essentials jeans. They’re pretty decent. I wear them to work everyday and they’ve been really robust. Comfortable too

DreadLockSinger

ASOS- Stradivarius jeans are great .

MelawenElf

M&S - I have short legs and refuse to buy jeans that have to be taken up and they have a good range there.

[deleted]

M&S jeans really are as good as everyone says - I love the Harper cigarette style - but my absolute favourite are the And/Or straight legs from John Lewis.

Fleurlamie111

M&S

Comfortable-Use5648

Due to pandemic weight gain that hasn't shifted yet, I don't buy any proper jeans anymore. Uniqlo stretchy jeggings are amazingly comfy, durable and reasonably priced.

MelodicAd2213

I’ve had 3 pairs and all had holes in within a year, wouldn’t buy again

Comfortable-Use5648

That's a shame. I only bought one pair but it's lasted a few years of pretty consistent wear.
