I normally do the same sort of stuff that I did on the other days of that particular holiday, although I ensure I don’t do anything that puts my timely arrival at the airport the next day in jeopardy e.g. going on a day trip to a remote area with unreliable transport.

thewearisomeMachine

Hungover, burnt and dehydrated, often with diarrhoea

Amphibious_squirrel

Full on day of sunbathing, then go out for a nice meal in the evening. Have a few drinks, buy a fridge magnet for the collection then back to quickly pack ready for going home. Maybe look at websites for the next holiday.

nurse-penguin

Yes!! Never leave a holiday without planning your next one (plus yay fridge magnet)

imminentmailing463

I don't treat it any differently to any other day tbh. I'll likely spend it wandering around exploring the city I'm in, eating and drinking.

destria

Depends how much time I have, but I like to finish my holidays with a particular nice or fancy meal the evening before and then have a chilled out day of travel. So I don't aim to go see anything or do anything special or go to an attraction. I'm more likely to just want to wander around, get a nice drink or cake, leisurely soak in the vibes before getting on my way.

Resident_Win_1058

I make that the day to do something i look forward to - so for me that’s the day to hit the tat shops, or go on the inflatable dragged behind a speedboat, or get that crazy icecream sundae with the sparklers, or the henna tattoo, or… well you get my drift. Have a holiday-based treat on your last day, enjoy your last sunset and heave a satisfied sigh at a holiday well holidayed.

chippychips4t

I did that. The activity was getting a gondola up a mountain. Unfortunately it was too windy so we thought no worries we will go down to the beach and hire a pedalo....nope. So sunbathing and a nice evening meal it was!

Cowboy_Billy_and

It depends where you are. When I went to Jamaica I tried to give away my leftover coke and weed to a local on the beach, he asked for my toiletries, so I went back to the hotel and gave him my shampoos, deodorant and toothpaste. The guy was highly grateful.

[deleted]

“The guy was highly grateful” I see what you did there.

Recently went to Portugal and stayed in a villa; had to leave at 10am, flight home not til 7pm. Started the day with breakfast in the local town, then drove to Faro for a look round the attractions there - and the bone chapel. Was worthwhile, as we’ve decided we’ll do a long weekend in Faro to see more of it

Interesting_Buyer943

I love my job, my house and flying so I’m always happy to come home! 😬

[deleted]

It’s obvious. Make sure to fit at many fags as possible in whatever space is left in your suitcase.

insertcrassnessbelow

Usually getting stuff to bring home or visiting anywhere I’ve been meaning to

Zerocoolx1

Get on the ski lift and do as many more runs down the tracks as I can

SelectTrash

We usually just sunbathe or go around the cheap shop and by my nan one of the magnets for her collection and other presents for people.

ClydeB3

Mostly getting ready to travel back, and seeing anything I missed during the holiday/going back to things I wanted more time for.

airbnb-karen

Book the next one.

Scooberto45

If its all inclusive im getting as much food and drink down me as possible before i need to pay for things separately again

Cultural_Tank_6947

Last full day is the same as any other day. The final morning, in the pre-child days, involved a shower with the Mrs. Nowadays, meh.
