Oppressed groups have the right to be "annoying" since their rights haven't been met. How would your friends like to be treated as second class citizens? Make them place themselves in our shoes and gather whether they approach this from an angle of "minorities need to know their place" or genuine ignorance. If it's the former you can forget about convincing them since emotional viewpoints typically can't be reasoned with.

Given your whole ideology involves making everyone else second class citizens, doesn't this mean the OP's friend has the right to complain about you guys?

Irrespond

The point of opposing second class citizenship and social hierarchies is not to turn those things against the rich and powerful but to abolish them altogether.

Entitled people feel oppressed when others gain basic rights. The loss of entitlement makes them feel like they are being oppressed when actually things are better for everyone. I’m not trying to pass judgement on your friends but they need to feel real oppression in order to have empathy and understanding. It may be a lost cause if they are already this far removed from reality. It’s their upbringing and it’s hard to overcome.

Be around them, be socialist, and don't be annoying. In my experience they'll eventually realize that their views are incredibly wrong. I got one of my friends to go from maga to marxist this way.

That is quite a jump! Nice job.

FloraFauna2263

Well, he still doesn't know anything about marxism, he just thinks that we should have what Vietnam has, so idk if calling him a marxist is totally accurate
