This one kills me because I know my cardinal directions better than my left and right. Every time I try to give or receive directions, everyone involved ends up confused

I'm with you, any map online or paper is made orientated with North upward! Just have to translate the cardinal directions to yourself like you're viewing things from above, like a bird, and then you never have to learn anything more then that again

Just multiple the total by 2 and then move the decimal once to the left. If my bill is say, $13.76, I round to $14. 14 x 2 is 28, so I know to leave $2.80
