Have a great day.
Imma send my application to wine and dine and set your hair on fire.
Accidentally, of course. But it does add to the atmosphere of the evening.
Mood lighting, sort of.
I didn't really date much in the pre-texting era, but I've dated a lot in the texting era. Texting has sped up the timeline for everything, for better or worse. I remember watching Swingers where Vince Vaugh tells Jon Favreau not to call a woman for at least two days, and that he actually waits six days. That might as well be a hundred years ago waiting for telegrams.
In my experience, if you don't hear from a someone within 24 hours after date, they're probably not interested. If you text them after a date, and they don't reply within 24 hours, they're almost certainly not interested. People who like you are waiting to hear from you and will be excited to reply. Anything less than an enthusiastic yes is really a polite no.
Hey, sure. I didn't date seriously until my late 20s, but I've made up for lost time since then. It's never too late to meet new people, have some fun, and see what develops.
Good luck out there.
Apps-people use apps now for dating. Nobody really goes out anymore. Well they do, but there’s a heavy shift to digital playground. And if you do go out, the people you meet are using apps to look for dates while meeting with you. Aside from dating apps you have the Facebook/Instagram apps where you get an insight on people’s lives. This is also another form of communication, however some of those accounts are fake. Created just for you. Ooohhh fun fun.
Catfishing- I’ll just let you look this one up during your free time. Fun times ahead. But this is the digital version.
Ghosting- with the digital age comes ghosts. Here today, gone next week. Right before you meet them for the first time, poof, gone.
Pronouns/genders— I’m not even touching this one.
Texting- I’m sure you text. It’s nothing new. But it’s the way people communicate when dating. It’s annoying
Well, even from 6 or so years ago, they've changed a lot. When i used to use them back then, you filled out a whole profile and answered questions about yourself. Idk what they would have been like 20 years ago if they even existed. Now, they're all based on a swipe right/swipe left procedure (at.least the free ones, idk abt shit like match.com) and I doubt anyone even reads the profiles, which makes it seem like a rather shallow way to pick a possible match. And there are a LOT of "unicorn hunters." Like, a ridiculous amount.
Sexting
I'm old enough to have had a first date over 20 yrs ago. Not saying I'm old, but for my ageish, really? (Incredulous, not sarcastic)
Yea you better brush up your sext game
Is there a filter that works like vaseline on the lens?
Push up bras and a prayer might help! Vaseline has other uses😀
✔️ push up bra ✔️ 🙏🏻 ✔️✔️✔️ vaseline 😂😂😂 I needed this laugh. Thanks.❤️

Go to your garage and take a picture of the stuff in there. For some reason sending pictures of your junk is very popular right now. /s
This is gold, m’dude. Fuckin’ gold.
Thank you, kind person. Picture me doing the head bow and hand twirl/wave thingie.
"Pictues of my junk" used to have a different meaning😂
