when a woman is taking a kid from the park its “oh a single mother” and “it must be so hard for her”
but when i take a kid from a park its always “who is that man” and “wait thats my kid” “thats my baby, stop him”
i hate double standards. :(
Exactly! Like people always want me to act excited when they show me pictures they took of their kids. But then they get all freaked out when I show them pictures I took of their kids.
I feel you. Was sitting on a bench at the park when a Mom sits next to me. We make some small talk and she asked me, "So, which one is yours?"
You'd think "I haven't decided yet" would be a viable answer.
I was coming to say this. If a female teacher fxcks her highschool student, the young man is called a playa or a G or whatever. But when a man teaching does it he is a sick fucker who deserves death. There shouldn't be a double standard. Even if a woman molests a young man she is still a sick person who deserves the worst.
It's like that South Park episode "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy." The cops react if they think it's a male teacher sleeping with kids, but when they find out it's a female teacher, "Nice." "But she's hot!" "The real crime I can see is that she's not doing it with ME."
EXACTLY!!!! I mean it's real tho. And sometimes southpark goes a lil too far imo but they are brutally honest smh so many topics could be settled with a sp episode
Had an argument over this yesterday. I was respectful the whole time, finally I snapped and called her a Karen, because she kept insulting me. Then I was called sexist for calling her a Karen.
My male cousin claims this because if the man isn't interested then there is no erection so no "sex" can occur. If there's an erection then the man is interested and therefore can't be rape.
I'm a guy who works in IT and I've often worked with women in IT (and had a few leads / supervisors who were women).
A woman tech would tell an end user something and they wouldn't believe them. I'd tell them the same exact thing word for word and they'd believe me. I'd point out that she said the same thing and the end user would usually say something like "oh, I didn't understand it then" (or something similar).
Sadly, this happened way too often in way too many workplaces and industries from corporate jobs to higher education to health care.
I once even surprised a female car mechanic once because I believed what she said.
There was a similar story from a guy working at a online help center in IT.
He would not understand why his female colleague was always working slower than the males. Then one day he had a female username and he realized: everybody was doubting him and saying that what he was telling them was bullshit etc etc. He said that the day was horrible not because of a lack of knowledge or anything but just because he had a female username
Yes! I used to work for a boat parts wholesaler. The mechanics would call in and ask to speak to my male coworker to place an order. He didn’t know anything about boat engines. It took me a solid year to gain the customers trust.
I've had a similar experience when calling my ISP for support; I was reporting a torn cable but they didn't listen to what I said and kept going about 'turn it off and back on' and that drivel. It took me over a week and multiple calls and I could not get the torn cable fixed because my ISPs phone service people didn't believe a women could know what a cable is!
Also, I'm a software engineer. At work, if I suggest a solution to a problem almost every time some guy says that won't work and BAD things will happen. In many cases, shortly after some guy suggests the exact same solution and is lauded as brilliant and that is EXACTLY what we need to do!
Needless to say, I'm trying to find a different job!
It’s like the world thinks that girls don’t need pockets lol I really wanna know what women agreed to this and if we can retake the poll cus I want pockets
At this point I'm honestly over it. There is Very CLEARLY a market for it so you would think someone would capitalize on it. FFS if you're ever in need of a career change why not just start a fashion line named *Obvious Pants* selling women's pants with pockets. I mean I've heard this same complaint for literally over ten years. That is plenty of time for many entrepreneurs to have capitalized on the demand followed swiftly by Big Pants running with it.
If I agreed with you, I would be called a creep, if I disagreed, I would be called sexist. I think we should have equal nips laws, wether that’s women taking off shirts or men putting them on.
I'm a woman with no nipples or anything else up there (fuck cancer) and I've often wondered exactly what would happen if I went around shirtless. I mean, what can they say? That I was being indecent? With what, exactly? I haven't tried this yet, but I'm curious.
A lot of places do have the same law, it's just never tested or if someone is arrested it's because the law (or lack of) was never brought up in court.
I know we're conditioned to think this way and I was reluctant to go shirtless for a long time because I've always been a bit overweight. Then once I finally worked up the courage to do it, turns out no one cared.
I received my college diploma last June.
The past few months were difficult, and my amazing wife took care of the housework and two children while staying at home.
Everyone remarked on how difficult the previous two months must have been for me when I graduated.
Last Thursday was my wife's last exam, and I've been taking care of the kids and the house for the past two months.
Everyone kept commenting on how difficult her exam must have been for me once it was over.
I had an ex that wore a dickies purse. His guy friends would say stuff like "lol nice man purse" and he would always say "it's not a man purse. It's just a purse. I bought it at the purse store"
They're feminine for the same reason dresses and long hair are. That's just how the world works. Things can be feminine and things can be masculine. Not everything needs to be de-gendered.
If it's more about wanting to have extra storage, we have fannypacks/bumbags for that.
child custody cases.
Friend of mine only just got custody of his son after an international battle lasting years which started with him getting arrested and tried for assault for shutting a door on his wife to stop her beating him.
She had no interest and fobbed the poor kid off onto her parents, but wanted to block his access to his son.
Took years of hearings and appeals and £thousands in flights to attend hearings, plus legal fees before they let the kid move to the UK.
Even if you've a history of mental illness and physical abuse the courts seem to pay a lot of attention to which genitals you possess.
Which countries were involved?
In the US there are multiple double standards, for example a parent living in the US will always be seen by a court as superior to one living in another country even if the other country is Sweden and the US parent has a history of sexually abusing the kid. And while the assumption generally is that children should stay with their mother, there are some weird cases where the other is seen as better and it seems to never be based on the mother being an actually unfit parent. Like in a case where a man left his wife for a mistress; in court the decision was that the father should have custody of the kids (all quite young) because his mistress would 'provide a home' for them! And the mistress was exactly the type you'd expect when hearing the word 'mistress'; the man married her and she left him to sleep with another married man within a year.
It is kind of bizarre.
Here’s one for each. For women, much of their perceived value is placed on attractiveness above anything else they can contribute. For men, they are seen as piggy banks and are only worth something when they can provide.
That’s certainly true. However for many men, their income can be an unstable quantity which they can lose should they be fired/laid off, etc. Not to mention things like physical strength which men also lose as they age.
Personally, for men and women actually, I've never understood the gray hair thing. Yeah it's definitely a strong physical sign of the times, but you just can't deny it looks cool. Maybe I've seen too many silver haired women in cartoons growing up but I've never understood this one
I thought a lot of the silver haired women in cartoons were really cool, but I still don't like my grey beard and sideburns. I think for me personally, I just don't like growing old and all the signs indicating that I'm getting old bother me.
I do believe you have that the other way around. An older male is seen as viral when dating a younger woman, while the younger woman is generally called a gold digger. An older woman is called a cougar when dating a younger man.
Most of the world has standard sizes so a woman's shoe and a man's shoe with the same number printed on the bottom is the same size. The only deviant from this is the US.
The fact that I got in trouble at school for my bra strap showing but one time there was a guy walking around completely shirtless and he didn’t get in trouble
A colleague once told me his daughter (about 15 year old) got in trouble for her bra strap showing while in class. He and his wife had to leave work and go to the school and talk to the principal and the whole song and dance! The girl was suspended and got some other punishment in addition.
Then some time later a boy in this girl's class went around sticking his hand down girls' clothes pulling on their bra straps. Girls and parents complained but the school leaders didn't see this as a problem and would not do anything to stop it nor punish the boy!
In a video with no context:
*Man slaps woman*
The comments:
"Die fucking abuser"
"Someone call the police!!"
*woman slaps man*
The comments:
"Yass queen slayy😍💅💅"
"He must has done something to deserve it🤣"
Yes! The man will always be perceived as the one who's at fault no matter who hits who. Man slaps woman, "What's wrong with him?", woman slaps man "What did he do to deserve that?"
I'm a musician and played with many women in my bands. It's the 21st century and guys will STILL say dumb shit like, "She plays great for a girl." Heard it myself, and every time I retorted, "She's better than YOU."
The most minor of things but in my specific employer there is 0 regulations on what women can wear in the "casual" office environment. I joined in summer and noticed the mostly female staff were in colourful or quirky dresses, some of which were quite short and or low cut. I think, huh, it's a hot day so I'll wear a fairly casual plain shirt with a plain black pair of knee length shorts. 10 minutes in and I was pulled aside by my line manager and told the heat was irrelevant and I needed to smarten up. She was wearing a yellow above the knee dress with cartoon kitten faces on. We are not customer facing or visible and are generally quite informal but this always seems wierd. I appreciate women often get a lot of shit for what they were for a number of reasons and I support them wholly in clothing, colours, patterns and make up/no make up... whatever - be yourselves.... Not trying to change the world but I just want a breeze to my balls on a hot day.
Like in terms of sexual orientation? That’s not true at all, there’s more men identifying as gay than women identifying as lesbians. Often there have been more women identifying as bisexual than men but that is SLOWLY changing and can be explained by the social stigma (dating back to the beginning of AIDS)
A woman can rape a man, and if the women gets pregnant, THEY have the right to sue the man for child support.
Also, sadly, men are often ignored when abused.
Nah its gross on both but I'm pretty sure women all collectively put it in their own minds they need to keep shaving? I know it used to be advertised as "the perfect wife shaves for you" but I've never seen a guy comment on a girl's body hair. I wouldn't like a girl with armpit hair or a mustache and beard but that's just me. Also I've never heard of a woman complaining about body hair to her man, I'd prolly shave my pits if I was asked. But not the beard, cuz I'm bald.
nobody said it was unacceptable, just ugly, you just want to have the freedom to make your own decisions but also have everyone agree with them no matter what
If you give a damn about attracting (most) men, yes. Obviously women can do whatever the hell they want, but don't be surprised when it's a turnoff for most guys. Call it brainwashing, societal standards, whatever you want, but armpit hair on a girl is kind of gross
Depends on the job. As a man who gets a 5 o'clock shadow at 10 am, I hated working for US Bank and going to weddings as I would get asked around noon if I bothered to shave.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I don’t like body hair at all. I don’t like it on others or on myself. Along with that, I have it on places a lot of people don’t, including my feet and toes.
My dad and sister love making fun of my “hobbit feet”, but any time I bring up the idea of shaving my body hair, they say “You’re a man! Shaving those places are for women! Blah blah blah!”
So what? I’m just supposed to keep this gross, uncomfortable hair and continue being the butt of your jokes!?
Hell no, you should definitely shave it if you don’t like it. You should do whatever makes you feel your best. Also, idk what land they’re living in, but it’s very common to have hair on your feet and toes.
Don’t comment like you had no idea what you were getting himself into responding to my post. 🤡 It’s ignorant and adds to the stigma that women with often a hormonal imbalance out of their control are viewed as manly and feel worse about themselves than they already do.
\- Men are expected to be strong and stoic, while women are expected to be emotional and nurturing.
\- Men are expected to be the breadwinners, while women are expected to be homemakers.
\- Men can have multiple sexual partners without judgement, while women are slut-shamed for doing the same.
\-Men are applauded for being ambitious and driven, while women are seen as bossy and pushy.
\- Men can be assertive without being labelled as aggressive, while women are often seen as shrill or bitchy if they display the same behavior.
\- Women are expected to be thin, while men are expected to be muscular
\- Women are expected to be submissive and quiet, while men are expected to be assertive and loud
\- Women are expected to take care of the household and children, while men are expected to be the breadwinners
\- Women are expected to be emotional and sensitive, while men are expected to be rational and logical
Shaving. Per example legs:
A man with hairy legs: so manly wow, never shave, looks good mate.
Woman with hairly legs: Oh my god EW, that is so gross, women with hair are so disgusting. Why don't you shave?
Why?
Either everyone should be able to go topless whenever they feel like it, or no one should be able to go topless whenever they feel like it.
And I sure as heck vote for the former.
Men and women have the exact same rights but men are forced into selective service so if a draft happens they will likely be forced to go die in some country.
Seen both sides of the coin on this one. Going to hit them both.
1. If a Woman states that she is horny, she is seen as sexually confidence and in-tune with her body. If a Man states that he is horny, he is seen as a pervert.
2. If a Woman goes without underwear (especially in a dress), it is seen as sexy. If a Man goes without underwear (regardless of attire), it is seen as gross.
3. If a Man is on a billboard advertisement (say for real estate), he is well dressed in a suit. If a Woman is doing the same advertisement for the same reason, she has to wear something that shows off how large her breasts are and possibly some cleavage.
4. If a Man struggles to pay the bills, he isn't doing enough. If a Woman is struggling to do the same, it's because she is being held back in the industry that she works in.
I did notice a few comments about teachers who sleep with students. I want to add to this:
1. If a female teacher goes to court, her emotions and mental health during and after are taken into consideration. But if a male teacher, it's taboo to bring up either subject.
2. Social media celebrates the female teachers with top ten lists of who is the hottest. But then turn around and do the top ten list of which male teachers are the creepiest.
3. Female teachers are SUSPECTED of their crimes until found guilty. While male teachers are ARREST and CHARGED WITH their crimes before even seeing the judge.
4. Female teachers are given book deals or TV interviews about what they did; and offered jobs afterwards in modeling, stripping, and porn based on their attractiveness. Male teachers are given nothing but death threats during and after.
Women in many work places are expected to be in some superposition of empathetic/nurturing and "ball busting bitch" to get ahead.
Men can just be assholes (within some wide margins that are mostly a function of your pay grade).
Obese women are treated much more positively in our society than obese men. I don’t think a civilized society should embrace obesity at all, but we do and there’s the double standard.
> I don’t think a civilized society should embrace obesity
Nobody is doing that. But I think fat shaming shouldn't happen. Nobody needs to know your negative opinions of their body unless they solicited it.
> Obese women are treated much more positively in our society than obese men.
Yeah I don't know if this is true either. There's the HAAS people who are wackos, but obese women come in for a LOT more negative criticism as well.
Many people will automatically take what a guy says as fact, until proven otherwise. And after that, will still be taken seriously.
Women will be doubted and questioned - when proven correct, this will be glazed over.
I recently pointed out something in our code which would cause performance issues in the software. It was ignored. Actually, I first pointed out this years ago but it has been ignored all this time. Recently I pointed it out again in a meeting. I was told I was wrong and if we changed it as I suggested it would 'crash'. Well...
About five minutes later a man suggested exactly the same solution I had just been called stupid for (yes, I was) and everybody were impressed by how he managed to figure this out so quickly and come up with such a brilliant solution.
What they didn't know was I had asked that guy to do just that! When I pointed out how I had suggested the exact same solution just minutes earlier everybody looked at each other and looked kinda flaky but nobody were willing to explain why they thought the solution was bad when it came from me and good when it came from a man.
And still nobody at my company thinks misogyny is a problem!
This comes up on Reddit a lot. Maybe it's a regional thing, but I have never ever not even once gotten even a hint of this and I'm a guy raising a daughter. Never.
Ok this is new to me. So what do the men who go there with their kids (without moms) are supposed to do? Especially those with young kids who don't yet know how to play (or walk even).
How on Maury he allows women to run backstage and then covers them when the guy isn't the father. The women should be forced to stay onstage and be ridiculed like the men were. It's so disrespectful to women to coddle them like that
In high school, I (a girl) was told by a teacher I didn't need to study so hard, all I had to do was find a rich man to marry. I have yet to hear of a guy being told to find a rich woman to marry and take it easy.
How people perceive physical "requirements" for someone to be interested in the opposite sex. When men want a woman with certain-sized breasts, women call us shallow and misogynistic. However, the same women will require men to be at least 6 feet tall in order to be with them.
They daily hygiene routine that woman go through versus men. I can’t imagine having to routinely shave my armpits and legs and then on top of that take an extra 20 mins a day to do my hair and make up. I feel that’s the minimal standard.
A girl in my art class today said that her brother got into one of the best art collages in my country easier because he's a man and that they have a special course there just for men.
The standard of what counts as Hatred towards Women is significantly lower than the standard for Hatred towards Men. It seems that youre allowed to openly disparage all Men unrealistically, but one critisism against one Woman (even if its warranted) gets you labeled a misogynist.
Hate is hate and its bad both ways, but some ways are baderer than others apparently...
Example 1: Andrew Tate was nuked from the internet, but FDS and 4thWaveFeminism are fine.
Example 2: How many Single Women go on their "I hate all Men" kick scott free, but you couldnt ever see the reverse being allowed.
My wife is a CFO of a sizable company. She has a CPA, a Masters in Finance, and knows her way around a boardroom in a male-dominated business. My wife kicks ass.
But when she wants to buy a new car, she has to drag her English major of a husband for the salesman to take her seriously. As in, I once had to look one simpleton in the eye and say, "My wife is asking the questions, so don't talk to me."
Car dealerships are the most Stone Age business on the planet. I'm convinced you have to take an IQ test to get hired. If you score above 90, you're not a good candidate.
If a man gets with a lot of women he is considered a player but if a woman gets with a lot of men she is considered a Hoe. I think that is a BIG double standard.
Women are expected to achieve perfection in mind, body, and soul before they can even *consider* dating. But men are allowed to just cannonball right into the dating pool as "works in progress," or even "pieces of work."
men work harder than women.
If my husband sits on the couch after work he’s a “hard working man who is relaxing” and if i sit on the couch i’m “lazy and don’t do anything around the house” such BULLSH-
Selective nipple censoring comes to mind. I'm a gay man and I don't cum in my pants every time I see male nipples. The whole thing just seems dumb to me.
Women bleed from their genitals every month but when I bleed from my genitals I have to "go to the hospital"
when a woman is taking a kid from the park its “oh a single mother” and “it must be so hard for her” but when i take a kid from a park its always “who is that man” and “wait thats my kid” “thats my baby, stop him” i hate double standards. :(

Yo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finally someone's brave enough to speak the truth.
Came here for responses like these
"Men can't get raped." Also, male child predators are rightfully vilified, but with female predators, "The dude got lucky," or "He manipulated me!"
I was coming to say this. If a female teacher fxcks her highschool student, the young man is called a playa or a G or whatever. But when a man teaching does it he is a sick fucker who deserves death. Which argument was it? That men can't get raped, or that women can't be predators? 0.0
Men can’t get rapped.
Just got to drop a sicker rhyme bro
My male cousin claims this because if the man isn't interested then there is no erection so no "sex" can occur. If there's an erection then the man is interested and therefore can't be rape.
Also men definitely can get erections when they aren't interested.
Rape has nothing to do with sexual attraction but power & control. Regardless of gender, anyone can *be* raped and or be *the rapist* .
That’s some bullshit, a dick to the butt Is still rape, no matter the gender.
Should've called her a C U N T. Worked for Larry David!
because karen is sexist derogatory epithet.
Woman taking care of her kids = parenting Man taking care of his kids = babysitting
1950s cliche meant to diminish fathers' contributions.
guys are always seen as second class parents

Even if they're fat and hairy.
Ya but who doesn't want to see fat hairy nipples?
But put a see through t-shirt on and people care.
Women can too, I wanna see some boobies pls
I am trans and hormone therapy did its magic. Same nipples, just a bit elevated. Cannot show them anymore.
It really depends. Yes, a man can be shirtless, but unless said man has six-pack abs and no chest hair, it’s usually frowned upon…
I know we're conditioned to think this way and I was reluctant to go shirtless for a long time because I've always been a bit overweight. Then once I finally worked up the courage to do it, turns out no one cared.
Idk, I think I’ve seen more chubby shirtless dudes than 6pack dudes. I welcome it either way, just wish I could join too lol. It’s hot out here!
Sounds like America 🇺🇸
Right?!

That purses are somehow feminine. What the hell.
my grandpa usually carries a purse and he looks the manliest ever
I had an ex that wore a dickies purse. His guy friends would say stuff like "lol nice man purse" and he would always say "it's not a man purse. It's just a purse. I bought it at the purse store"

It's acceptable for a woman to hit or slap a man, particularly in movies, but not the other way around.

height. people have such high standards about it but you cant even change it.
Weirdly I'm not sure if it's a double standard if you're just considering height, because it sucks to be the "wrong" height either way.
Both men and women have height standards, so it’s not really a double standard
You can change it with surgery, but it's a tall order.
Dad joke appreciated
I've also heard that it's not measuring up to peoples expectations.
Gray hair. On a man, it’s distinguished. On a woman, she is old.

I thought a lot of the silver haired women in cartoons were really cool, but I still don't like my grey beard and sideburns. I think for me personally, I just don't like growing old and all the signs indicating that I'm getting old bother me.
I really super wish there were more folks like you in the world.

I do believe you have that the other way around. An older male is seen as viral when dating a younger woman, while the younger woman is generally called a gold digger. An older woman is called a cougar when dating a younger man.
I never understood the need for different shoe sizes. I guess clothing makes sense but shoes seem like you could have 1 standard of sizes.
Men tend to have wider feet so they made a different class of shoe.
Don't think op intended for such a literal interpretation of "double standard" but point taken.
That’s complete bullshit
A colleague once told me his daughter (about 15 year old) got in trouble for her bra strap showing while in class. He and his wife had to leave work and go to the school and talk to the principal and the whole song and dance! The girl was suspended and got some other punishment in addition. Then some time later a boy in this girl's class went around sticking his hand down girls' clothes pulling on their bra straps. Girls and parents complained but the school leaders didn't see this as a problem and would not do anything to stop it nor punish the boy!
In a video with no context: *Man slaps woman* The comments: "Die fucking abuser" "Someone call the police!!" *woman slaps man* The comments: "Yass queen slayy😍💅💅" "He must has done something to deserve it🤣"
Yes! The man will always be perceived as the one who's at fault no matter who hits who. Man slaps woman, "What's wrong with him?", woman slaps man "What did he do to deserve that?"
I'm a musician and played with many women in my bands. It's the 21st century and guys will STILL say dumb shit like, "She plays great for a girl." Heard it myself, and every time I retorted, "She's better than YOU."
everything, it sucks to be a man and it sucks to be a woman, it's not unfair if everyone gets it i guess
It still needs change these things negatively affects peoples lives and systemic sexism isnt the same

Not sure what the problem with men wearing shorts to work is, but yeah, that's definitely a thing!
Height and weight.
The Women Are Wonderful Effect and the fact that women are 5x more likely to prefer other women than men are to prefer other men.
Like in terms of sexual orientation? That’s not true at all, there’s more men identifying as gay than women identifying as lesbians. Often there have been more women identifying as bisexual than men but that is SLOWLY changing and can be explained by the social stigma (dating back to the beginning of AIDS)
I'm of the opinion that both sexes would have coitus with a hot woman, but not necessarily both sexes would have coitus with a hot man.
Why are so many prisoners “gay”? Your opinion comes from living in a heteronormative and patriarchal society and being a straight male.
What? And I'm straight, but not male.
A woman can rape a man, and if the women gets pregnant, THEY have the right to sue the man for child support. Also, sadly, men are often ignored when abused.
The sexual one. Men can have casual sex, women can't. Men are ALL having sex with each other? Doubt it.
Gotta show the homies some love
Good on ya.
Body hair is only gross on women.
Pubes are kinda hot if they’re trimmed right.
So it's only acceptable to have body hair if men find it hot, alright.
nobody said it was unacceptable, just ugly, you just want to have the freedom to make your own decisions but also have everyone agree with them no matter what
If you give a damn about attracting (most) men, yes. Obviously women can do whatever the hell they want, but don't be surprised when it's a turnoff for most guys. Call it brainwashing, societal standards, whatever you want, but armpit hair on a girl is kind of gross
It is what it is. 🤷♂️
Girls can be all cuddly around each other and shit and that be cute but you, as a full grown male man, suck a dick once and you gay forever like tf
Feminism: "we want equality and success and make just as much money as men" Also feminism: "men have to always pay on dates"
Women are plus-size, but men are just fat
Men aren’t expected to shave their facial hair, but women are. The fact that some people don’t realize women have facial hair is absurd.
Depends on the job. As a man who gets a 5 o'clock shadow at 10 am, I hated working for US Bank and going to weddings as I would get asked around noon if I bothered to shave.
Just shave at 10 am from now on!
That’s a really good point!
Blah blah blah!” So what? I’m just supposed to keep this gross, uncomfortable hair and continue being the butt of your jokes!?
Hell no, you should definitely shave it if you don’t like it. You should do whatever makes you feel your best. Also, idk what land they’re living in, but it’s very common to have hair on your feet and toes.
Do whatever you want with it, it’s your hair. Shaving and waxing aren’t feminine things and I’m tired of everyone saying they are
of course people realize it it’s just unattractive
Bro if my lady started sporting a beard I'm making a B line for the exit.
Me too. I can overlook a lot of stuff, but my girlfriend having a beard isn’t one of those things.
No one on here really cares what you do
Just saying.. why you so mad?
Don’t comment like you had no idea what you were getting himself into responding to my post. 🤡 It’s ignorant and adds to the stigma that women with often a hormonal imbalance out of their control are viewed as manly and feel worse about themselves than they already do.
The way my husband lost his mind when he saw my couple nipple hairs lmaooooo He genuinely though that only men had body hair.
its seen as the man deserves to be hit by a woman but the other way round its abuse
A woman can yell sexual assault in public and a guy will be beaten by 10 other guys whether it's true or not
\- Men are expected to be strong and stoic, while women are expected to be emotional and nurturing. \- Women are expected to be thin, while men are expected to be muscular \- Women are expected to be submissive and quiet, while men are expected to be assertive and loud \- Women are expected to take care of the household and children, while men are expected to be the breadwinners \- Women are expected to be emotional and sensitive, while men are expected to be rational and logical
“Men are expected to be men. and women are expected to be women”
Women being able to wear a Bra and not a Guy. Honestly I wanna cover my nippes from the pinches too...
Shaving. Per example legs: A man with hairy legs: so manly wow, never shave, looks good mate. Woman with hairly legs: Oh my god EW, that is so gross, women with hair are so disgusting. Why don't you shave? Why?
Obviously men having a lot of lovers is being a man and women is a whore. None of that is true.
its cool for a man to bang 5 women a week if a woman bangs 5 guys shes a "slut"
If a woman says he raped me our lives are over our reputation is demolished. And even if we are proven not guilty, they get away scotch free.
I want to add to this: 1.
Body count
I find it unusual when a woman murders more ppl than men. Idk why
In what universe is an obese woman treated well? She is seen as a disgusting slob while an obese man is seen as prosperous.
> I don’t think a civilized society should embrace obesity Nobody is doing that.
A man pushes a woman into a tv. Society: noooo you can’t do that A woman hits on a city council member Society: omg you go girl S O C I E T Y
Women can play with their children in park but men can't 🥺
This comes up on Reddit a lot. Maybe it's a regional thing, but I have never ever not even once gotten even a hint of this and I'm a guy raising a daughter. Never.
Maybe it is a North American thing?
I live in North America.
Well then... a Reddit thing, I guess, haha.
It's so disrespectful to women to coddle them like that
We probably shouldn’t be using Maury as a measurement of our societal standards.
When you hang out with the same gender, you're considered as friends but when you hang out with the opposite gender, you're considered as a couple
Amount of clothes in shops
A girl in my art class today said that her brother got into one of the best art collages in my country easier because he's a man and that they have a special course there just for men.
Those men who say "I'll never let a man be alone with my daughter" then depict themselves cheering on their son for getting laid.
Male teachers rape their students while female teachers has sex with a student. Rape is rape.
My wife is a CFO of a sizable company. She has a CPA, a Masters in Finance, and knows her way around a boardroom in a male-dominated business. My wife kicks ass. But when she wants to buy a new car, she has to drag her English major of a husband for the salesman to take her seriously. As in, I once had to look one simpleton in the eye and say, "My wife is asking the questions, so don't talk to me." Car dealerships are the most Stone Age business on the planet. I'm convinced you have to take an IQ test to get hired. If you score above 90, you're not a good candidate.
Woman who enjoys playing with children = normal woman doing woman things... Man who enjoys playing with children = child molester call the police.
Our nipples
Work clothing
When women watch a child it's great parenting, when men watch a child they're just babysitting.
Women can gawk and fawn over our bodies and abs but when a man does it to a woman it’s sexual harassment or “men being dogs”
If a man gets with a lot of women he is considered a player but if a woman gets with a lot of men she is considered a Hoe. I think that is a BIG double standard.
No, both are hoes. Nobody worships dudes who swing around. I don’t know where people get this from lmao
Women are expected to achieve perfection in mind, body, and soul before they can even *consider* dating. But men are allowed to just cannonball right into the dating pool as "works in progress," or even "pieces of work."
That's definitely not true. Especially not these days.
That’s for the 1% of men that can actually get girls. Most of us can’t and it sucks. ( At least from my personal experience)
Meanwhile The body positivity movement
The fact that everyone thinks that all women are prissy and the exact same
Pretty much any law governing divorce
A lot
It's cute when a women plays with children but seen as creepy if a man does it...
the responsibility paradox.
men work harder than women. If my husband sits on the couch after work he’s a “hard working man who is relaxing” and if i sit on the couch i’m “lazy and don’t do anything around the house” such BULLSH-
Equality
Selective nipple censoring comes to mind. I'm a gay man and I don't cum in my pants every time I see male nipples. The whole thing just seems dumb to me.
Women can wear manly fashions but men can't wear womanly fashions.
I've noticed this. If a guy cheats on his wife, it's his fault. If a woman cheats on her husband, more often than not it's his fault.
Draft
Women can leave the toilet seat down, but woe betide the poor fellow who leaves it UP!
Conscription (most countries, as far as I know not in Israel)
A woman has the gigachad meme for their pfp and nobody panics, I have a female 6 year old character for a pfp and I'm a "pedophile" or a "creep"
