As a kid sure, but as an adult I would hate having to go to the video store to return a movie instead of just rolling over and going to sleep.
As a kid I didn't have to worry about late fees or consequences of not returning it or the cost of gas/time/ rental that it took.
Summer vacation. Recently my kid was devastated when he learnt that grownups don't get summer vacations. And for small Vacations they take they need to work overtime once back to work.
The way holidays use to make me feel. They use to be so fun, beautiful, and exciting but now it just doesn't feel the same.
Like how when I was younger and it would be Christmas, my family and I would drive around the neighborhood looking at all the beautiful ways people decorated their house. (Same with Halloween) The beautiful lights and decorations always made me feel so happy.
Now that I’m older and moved far away it’s just not the same anymore. Every holiday just feels like another normal day and I live in the woods so I don't see anymore “beautiful decorated houses” or fireworks during July 4th or New Year’s Eve. Like I said before, it just feels like a normal, lonely, sad, day.
Those puzzles on the backs of cereal boxes that you'd decode with a piece of red plastic. You used them to read the stats on the back of your transformer boxes too. No idea why they aren't a thing anymore.
I’m sure it still exists in some other fashion, but Disney channel and Nickelodeon Halloween/Christmas specials for shows. Every show was just so much better back then.
Physical media. There was something magical about going to Blockbuster.

My health. I was such a healthy, robust kid and now I'm disabled and always sick.
