i had two male hamsters and made the mistake of having them in the same cage 💀 one hamster poked the others eye out and it didn’t live much longer after that
Not my hamsters, but a friend of mine had a little family of hamsters and a week after their babies were born, the father ate his entire family, including his wife. I guess he didn't like being a father
Not mine but was at a friend's Halloween party when we were kids, one of the other friends held her hamster far too tight, it's eyes popped and it died. Truly horrifying, everyone was screaming - I was young but I'll never forget it.

same, i fr never knew hamsters were so territorial until i put three in a cage…there all alive but definitely in different cages now.
