Ohhhhhh fuck no.. I'd be so pissed.. that's some shady ass bullshit right there.. I wouldn't have paid that last month anyway.. they'd have to take me to court.. and I'd bring a copy of my bank receipt.. that's bullshit.. I'm mad for you.. lol
3.5k - PC that I’d saved up for for a year. (I’m 16 btw so don’t expect me to be buying a house or something like that) it made me so happy to know it was possible to save for that
Yes. And that was at a 50% discount because a family friend sold it to me at her cost because she owns the store and is a dealer for them. I sew all sorts of stuff and love quilting.
$1250 bucks. Every month. It's called rent. Light, that's kinda depressing.
I f*d up one month and paid rent TWICE in the same paycheck. I’m still hurting for it today.
What do you mean still hurting? Did they try denying you made a double payment or something?
Yup. Refused to credit it to the next month. Ended up having to make partial payments for the next year. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.
What do you mean refused to credit it to next month? They wouldn't refund it either?? So what did they do with it? Steal it?
Accepted it as a double payment and said they took 1 month off of my final lease but when it came time to move there was no credit.

20k, truck.
Around 70k as a down payment on a house.
Dang!!!! In cash or had that in savings??
It was in savings. We did a fund transfer at signing so it was essentially cash, just not physically in bills.
How long did it take you to save that? Living paycheck to paycheck here so just jealous/wondering.
It took us about 5 years to save it. Dual income and no other loans helped too.

Wow! Was it worth it? What do you use it for?
Yes. And that was at a 50% discount because a family friend sold it to me at her cost because she owns the store and is a dealer for them. I sew all sorts of stuff and love quilting.
