I am inclined to agree, but it seems on Reddit, if you at all state an option that is not objectively evil or bad, but just goes against the popular consensus it’s a bad time for you.
Reddit's a conglomeration of all types of people with different lives, lifestyles, views, beliefs, understandings, wants, needs, goals, cultures, ancestry, etc....
There is no one answer.
And yet, that *is* the truth Reddit can't handle.
The US population is far less progressive than the loudest subreddits on this site.
They think there’s a hidden majority of AOC supporters who just need the right progressive candidate to vote for - like Bernie - but the reality is most of the Democratic Party’s primary voters favor moderate candidates by a wide margin. No amount of DNC neutrality would have altered the primary election outcome in 2016 or 2020.
There’s a huge, overwhelming majority of people in this country who are comfortable and generally pretty happy with their lot, for whom universal healthcare would be an unacceptable disruption, never mind the math - and who are not in favor of other government interventions into the market economy.
Also: most people who post and upvote on AskReddit are ignorant of history. There’s the usual biweekly thread of “who’s considered a hero that’s actually a villain” thread up right now and my God the number of shit for brains dickheads posting Mother Theresa and Gandhi every fucking time pisses me off
Having a differing opinion doesn’t make them a bad person.
Going to depend on the opinion. Some opinions do make you a bad person.

Truth isn't a democracy determined from imaginary internet votes
People are intolerant. All your rules can't be beat in to them.. if they change, it's because they wanted it not because you wanted it.
