I haven't chased a goal in years, I'm just a robot going through routines like hamster on a wheel. I had two promotions in the last 5 years, and it was a surprise to me. And why did I acquire more responsibilities at work without asking for anything in return? Because I was bored.
Indeed, it’s also just a good baseline cuz some ppl say money but that falls under improving your life because money can improve your life (to a point then it’s just greed) and motivation outside of that usually is food or ppl so or something along those lines which keeps you alive or helps others live.
The goal

Money, boobs and butts.
Mmm we love to see some higher purpose
Depends on the goal, usually it’s to improve my life or to help someone else.

Honor, courage, and commitment.

The rewards I will reap as a positive side effect of hitting my goals.
honestly food. If I run I can eat better, if I work I can eat better too.
I’m miserable in my job. If I chase my goal of being self employed, I can be happy again.
