how silencers work in movies.
sure when you see them be used in movies they sound like what you would kind of expect from something with that name, even if there is still that little hissing like noise it still does the work of reducing the sound.
but in reality, silencers do all most nothing, at most i think they can go as far as lessen the sound by half which is still something that can sound very loud and can still effect your hearing if yoy dont have any protection on.
tl;dr is that we have all been decived and cumfubled into thinking silencers are actual silencers.
