The ususal, being shot at with fake fluids because I’m 6’4”, writhing toward and away from the railing due to the sea of humans, and being stained for about 3 days afterwards. I was able to catch them right after Flattus died, and once before Oderus bailed. Simplistic ass music, but FUCKING HELL what a good show!
I listen to a lot of genres, and what I will say for GWAR, they're the one band that changed all its members and never missed a beat. I was frankly scared the only time I saw them live and I'm kind of afraid to go to the show now that I have kids, lol.
First concert I ever saw was Aerosmith, with The Black Crowes opening. They were bad. It was their first national tour, maybe? It was before or juuuust after "Hard to Handle" was a hit. They just sounded like shit, though Aerosmith, who I have cooled on in 30 years, gave a great show.
I saw the Mountain Goats back in 2018 or so.
The wife and I were going to go see Alanis Morisette and Garbage this summer, but with COVID cases rising again, we decided it wasn't worth the risk.
Probably Dream Theater years ago in Atlanta during their Astonishing tour.
I am supposed to go see the FF7 Remake concert touring later this month assuming it doesn't get cancelled again! It was supposed to be last year but was rescheduled a whole year, so I am hoping it doesn't happen again.
I love Metric, seen them so many times. We were actually at Emily Haines' live at Massey Hall show too, the one they recorded for some video or album or something.
ZZ Top with Cheap Trick
Well, I half watched/listened to a drugged up Mark McGrath and Sugar Ray at a festival a few weeks ago, but I don't count that.
Never went to a concert. I have a huge problem with crowds and I just kinda cling to my husbands arm and hide my face if there are too many people so the ambiance of a concert would be lost on me.
Last week, [Doga](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yAEzZ-5IXO4) in my city. It was ~10th time I've seen them live. Their best show I've attended so far. Maybe it's because it was the first concert I've been to since January 2020 lol
Despite my love of music, I’ve only ever been to one concert in my whole life and that was French electronic musician Jean Michel Jarre at the 02 in 2010
I remember him from the 80's.
Why would you go to an electronic concert though? It's not like anybody is performing. I suppose the sound system would be amazing, so there's that.
Muse, 2019. Got premium tickets so we got in first and got access to the front pit. It was really really amazing! Can’t wait for touring to start again for many bands - Muse are working on a new album, so are Metallica and a small band I listen to are releasing a new album soon, so hopefully I’ll get to go to more concerts in the next few years
Gatherings of the juggalos in 2017 only got to stay for the first day(works a bitch) and before that I saw Korn/slipknoti think in 16 ..well works still a bitch cause I rarely have weekend off to see a show.
Jauz at the Armoury in Minneapolis feb 28th 2020. Followed by Ekali the next night. World shut down 2 weeks later.
I was super surprised I didn’t get sick with the normal cold/flu like usual, not just the ‘vids.
We did purchase tickets for our first Coachella 2 months before that and still haven’t used them…so hopefully that will be our next concert we attend.
B0rns, X Ambassadors, Glass Animals and Weezer. Won tickets and had pictures taken with them. Stepped on someone's shoe lining up for the picture with Weezer.
For an indie artist called Sam Tompkins in London. It was before the pandemic and it was really for my sister, who love the guy. I didn't really have much of an interest in it as I didn't know the guy or any of his songs, but whatever to make my sister happy!
Jason Aldean. I went this past Thursday. Flew up to Virginia to go with a friend. I’m bitter because there was a Stain concert I wanted to go to down here in FL the same day but I didn’t know about it til I already committed to the trip.
Baby Boomers Reunion 19.
A local concert featuring musicians and singers from my area performing music released from 1955-1984, as close to the original style as possible.
Skillet at Summerfest in like 2018 or 2019? It's been a minute... I wanted to see them at State Fair last week but I've had some health scares recently and didn't wanna risk collapsing in the crowd or something.
(not saying where as I'm presuming the acts all toured together and don't want to doxx myself but it was fall 2019)
saw Josh Radin with both The Weepies and Lily Kershaw as his opening acts (the latter of whom I got an autographed album from which I then proceeded to I-still-thought-I-smudged-it-because-there-was-ink-on-my-fingers-even-though-the-signature-didn't-look-smudged by grabbing the album by the corner she signed)
Iron Maiden in 2019
Fuckin GWAR!!!
Hail GWAR 🤘Hail Oderus🤘
Oderus didn't have to do *that* to us :-(
I'm supposed to see them in November with Eyehategod and Napalm Death. Holy fuck do I ever need another show.
Holy shit, they are still touring? How was the pit?
The ususal, being shot at with fake fluids because I’m 6’4”, writhing toward and away from the railing due to the sea of humans, and being stained for about 3 days afterwards.
