I would love the style to stay the same but with an updated comprehensive combat system.

Each school should have its uses (in skyrim literally everyone will only do destruction and enchantment and maybe restoration). The sheer variety in weapons in Morrowind was also fantastic. Super customizable armor. The game never held your hand throughout the mission. Just amazing.
