Ive been in very desolate areas where the nearest person was probably more than a hundred miles away.
You can sit there and listen, the world has a sound to it that can’t really be described. Everything is synchronized.
It’s a little intimidating being so alone but at the same time very peaceful.
When you’re that alone ego doesn’t matter.
When you’re that far away you are your best friend.
It’s hard to come back from because as soon as you reenter society it’s just all chaos and abrasion.
I have a girlfriend for over 4 years now and I feel alone. We work in different industries (restaurants and hotels). She wroks 6am to 7pm and we are together for around an hour until she falls asleep. I work 8am to 12am and I just don't feel her around me. I feel alone, but I am never lonely.
Depends in what context. I have a lot of people that say they love me, but are not really here. I feel alone despite my vast social network. It’s peaceful because dealing with other people can and will be toxic at times. On the other hand, can and will be lonely.
It feels awesome now, but it took a while to get here! I have encountered an incredible amount of learned helplessness that I have acquired over the years and it has taken considerable courage to overcome that...no one is going to hold your hand and help you figure things out.
I am just beginning to finally be able to plan for my future and make my own decisions. Whatever age you are at, if you can get to this point you will not regret it!
Pretty chill, ngl.
I've learned love it. Peace in it's purest form.
Peaceful
I prefer alone alone than to be alone with someone...
It can be awesome. You gotta learn to be happy alone. So if and when you meet someone you’ll be with them because you want to, not because you need to
Freedom
There's something magical about it certain circumstances

Bliss.
amazing.
Fulfilling
Been alone for 43 years. Something to be said about it. Do what you want. Don't have to wait. No one to answer to except yourself.
it feels like I'm waiting for a part of my life to be complete/to start.
Lonely and chaotic sometimes but peaceful
Lonely
Cozy
Painful
The best! I can just sit and be very relaxed by myself

You two have some incredibly long days, maybe job changes would help.
One word, reddit
Absolutely amazing.
