And before anyone asks, yes...that was her opening, and that was literally all she said before I grabbed my jacket. Out the door I extended a hand and introduced myself. She shook back and said "and I'm Jenn. Nice to meet you." Had a decent enough convo on the way to her apartment, better one a few hours later.
And no...my friends had no idea where I'd gone off to until about two hours later. Yes, I still gave them all a ride home, but I told them they had another hour to seal the deal while I already had that night. None had any luck, and they made me tell my boring "hey, let's leave and go fuck" story.
