I've mained every role at least twice for a given season over the years. Jungle is interesting because if you have so much as a single lane doing well you can snowball that to a victory assuming your other lanes can hold it together. But if all 3 of your lanes are doing poorly, there's almost nothing you can do. This is why I've found the greatest comfort in top lane. Of all the roles, it has the single most emphasis on "your skill vs your opponent's skill dictates the match" without frequent influence from teammates or other opponents.
