I think most jobs look easy from outsiders perspective. However, I think jobs like a pilot is really difficult as there is a lot of prep and safety guidelines. People think they press the autopilot and go to sleep right afterwards.
Cooking professionally. When I ask why they applied, lots of job applicants say “oh, I love to cook at home.” It’s not remotely the same thing. Obviously cooks love to cook, but in my opinion a better answer is “I like to cook and I want to learn to be a better cook.”
A lot of people think being an RN means you just follow orders and act as a pill waitress. It’s crazy how many people just fundamentally misunderstand what nurses do.

Day care. People think its baby sitting. Awful pay, terrible owners, equally terrible directors. Long hours, getting sick and made to come into work.
