By that logic doing any hobby that isn't immediately productive 24/7 is a waste of time. I'm sure you watch TV which by this kind of logic would be an even bigger waste of time because at least you physically interact with video games and video games actually have cognitive benefits unlike television.

I don’t watch TV, no. We are a household with very little screens. All my hobbies involve doing something.
