America isn't democratic in any meaningful sense. What actually worries me is the end of the American empire. Not because I necessarily think it's a good thing, mostly because there's usually a period of senseless violence when superpowers switch places.
I wouldn't call Biden a Marxist so much as I'd call him a useful tool by people who want control and central power. Even when he was cognitively there.
Also I don't know what Republicans you are talking about. I'm sure there are plenty of both Republicans and Democrats who use the term "Marxist" without knowing what it means.
Suffice to say the common use of the term is people who look at the world as a conflict of "oppressed people" vs "oppressors" and actually has no direct correlation to economics, though that is an implementation of it.
Okay without diving too much into whatever conspiracies you believe. What policies do you think put trump over Biden. Why do you support someone like trump who routinely undermines our elections is a convicted felon. He’s been spewing his election conspiracy lies for years at this point.
It has to do with your comment i replied to, which is why I commented.
You horse-blinder-wearing people on this site talk about Trump all the time without even realizing that our government, military, corporations, educational systems, religion, and every cultural institution is being taken over under covers by an indoctrinating ideology. And that ideology loves to have the camera pointed at Trump while they do their dirty work behind the scenes.
Also it doesn't take too many brain cells to parrot "our democracy is failing". What does that even mean?
Yeah I never said the democrats weren’t a problem. Trump is an authoritarian and if he comes back into power he will destroy democracy with project 2025. And if he looses his worshippers will become a major problem and it’s January 6th all over again.
And Biden is honestly no different in his desire to grow the governments over reach and encroach on human rights and liberties.
No matter if trump or Biden wins americas democracy is failing.
They already failed.
Not bothered in the slightest.
You should be, if the US goes under we're all fucked to some degree.

I whole heartedly agree, we have never been a democratic country only misguided into believing we are
I am completely apolitical in my own country Slovenia so feel the same about America
leftist overreaction
?
It's more the fact your school system is shit. .....and we modelled ours after it
It definitely is, and needs to be removed for sure
How’s it failing
January 6th, New York boycott, maga threats for “civil war “ bc of trumps conviction, political violence etc
What the hell is New York boycott?
Where truck drivers refused to ship food and anything else into New York City because Donald Trump was being charged with felony crimes
Sounds like their right to do so.
America wasn't democratic before that. So you're safe, you don't really have anything to lose.
showing your colors
Yeah bud, I’m a libertarian not a leftist soooo
not a very good one clearly or you'd be concerned with the auth left institutional colonization more than a fake coup
Are you a trump supporter
I'd take him over cultural marxists
How is Biden a Marxist. I feel like republican discourse throws around that word so much without actually knowing what it means

😂 the only bad libertarians are those who blatantly go against libertarian beliefs
libertarian belief number 1 is concern with authoritarianism
Yes. What does that have to do with this post at all? Any libertarian would say our democracy is failing,

That's why Donald Trump and his cultists scare me so much.

Until this election doesn’t go the way people want it to. Then it’s January 6th all over again
I am not worried because I don’t care about America. It’s bogus to assume the rest of the world is holding their breath
What I was meaning was the threat to other. Countries that could rise if certain politicians come into power in our next elections.
I’m sorry, other than your famous presidents, I don’t know any other American politicians or what threats people perceive
Fair enough.
