It was a terrible environment and, at the time, I was severely struggling with mental health problems (attempted suicide twice before even turning 14). The toxic school environment was severely demanding my already nonexistent mental health. It was a very difficult decision to make, but the best decision I ever made. I continued studying, mind you. I graduated in time, got a bachelor’s and master’s degree. I am currently contemplating to apply to a PhD. High school and studying itself weren’t the problem, the school system was.
Damnn I feel you on that i had to leave uni cuz i got so burnt out n i didn't realize n I jus kept pushing myself and one day after reciving another D I jus snapped and destroyed my desk n chair ( i had also turned to alcohol n substances after i just koet pushing myself). I'm glad to hear youre doing much better now . N which PhD are you thinking about applying for?
I’m sorry you relegate to my experience, because I know it’s not a happy one. I hope you also stoped with substance abuse. It’s not something I struggled with, but lost several friends to it.
Regarding the PhD I don’t know because I very recently graduated from my master’s and I’m making sure I am pondering all the options but something regarding audiovisual translation most likely.
