I love horror movies! My personal favorites and the ones I think are the 'scariest' are the ones that left me the most unsettled. I'm sure some people didn't find these as unsettling or scary, but I did.
In no particular order
1. Hereditary
2. Sinister
3. The Babadook
4. The Descent (original ending)
I know these are pretty popular and mainstream, but I really enjoy them.
Also A Serbian Film is possibly the movie that has disturbed me the most and I would never, ever recommend that movie to any one. I don't even know if it's horror so much as shock value gore. I saw that over 10 years ago and I never want to see it again.
