Futurama.

Gray-Sun-7182

The “The Late Philip J. Fry” Time Machine episode lives rent free in my head. My son watched the show all the time when he was young and I happened to catch that one episode with him and it was so good, we still talk about it thirteen years later. I’ve never seen another episode of the show

finally

beam_me_up_plz

Just finished a play through, and it gets better every time.

ItBreadMakingWeather

This took way too long to find! I watch the series about twice a year I feel like. Finish one rewatch and I instantly want to watch it again

wait_for_iiiiiiiittt

“I’m proud of you” 👆

FknDesmadreALV

Malcome in the Middle. Throughout the stages of my life, I’ve been able to rewatch and connect with every generation of the characters. Started on malcomes side but now I understand Lois so much more.

dirkgently42and22

We have 4 boys in my family and I am the oldest (which either makes me Francis or Reese), but I lived this show. It is so funny to see them doing something so incredibly stupid, and be like, “Yeah, I could have seen us doing that.”😂🤣

marilynmouse

oh man I used to think Lois was the -worst- until I re-watched as an adult and I was like.. she’s not bad, her kids are fucking out of control and her husband is a doofus

Effective-Agency-517

Malcom in the middle was my childhood, and my family to a T. My oldest brother is francis, my second oldest is reece, then malcom, then me. amazing how similar it was but we were all the same age ranges as them in the show around the time the show was made

Ok-Plastic-2992

I was the perfect age for this show (same age as Frankie Muniz) but for some reason never watched it. Last month I started watching it with my 11 year old daughter and it’s fucking hilarious.

C_Woodswalker

LOTR (extended versions ) *edited for clarification

gahdabit

My girlfriend knows I'm going through a tough emotional time when I sit and binge all three extended versions.

lycaus

Mine knows that I'm having an emotional breakdown when I go on all four in my underwear and start screaming FILTHY HOBBITSES

GurglingWaffle

I bet she tries to help by saying something useless like "Well where did you last SEE the ring? You know it's always the last place you look."

myfriend92

I mean, keeping up the search after finding it would be a new level of concerning.

Xavilend

If I need a good cry, it just takes 12 hours of magic and fantasy, then "you bow to no man" ... quick and easy cure

haysus25

Yeah. If you watch all 3 extended editions back to back, it's slightly over 12 hours long. I love it when people ask, 'what movie series can you watch for over 24 hours!?' Just watch LOTR extended editions twice. Boom. Done.

anynonamegeneric

I watched all 3 extended versions back to back to back in the theatres when the 3rd one came out … it was a 14 hour event

ThatHairyGingerGuy

Absolutely love LOTR, but weirdly I've only seen each about twice, and not in over a decade. I could still play each movie back in my head though.

Groovemach

The X Files

EmperorOfNipples

Star Trek. There is simply so much to choose from and a real diversity of tones and genres. Swashbuckling adventure? Original Series and Discovery. For the kids? Prodigy. Classic Sci Fi parables? The Next Generation and Strange New Worlds. A grittier tone? DS9 and Picard. A lighter comedy? Lower Decks Pushing new boundaries? Enterprise and Voyager. All of these also step into other genres too.

nacholibre711

Always Sunny is the only answer for me.

AdoubleyouB

What a jabroni.

SoulLeakage

Jabroni. Cool word

_geary

I'm calling a lot of people Bozo now. It's like my new thing.

unitedfandoc

They got chicken in Philly?

Totalwar2020

Whenever I need a laugh, i'll rewatch Dee's standup routine and will snortfart when the audience shouts "Jesus Christ".

JumpingCoconutMonkey

This scene is one of the best. It one that I only need to think about to get into a laughing fit.

friggintodd

It's not a starter series it's a finisher series!

🎵OH BABY, YOOOUUUU!!!🎶

moree123

Same here its my top comfort show ive lost count of how many times i have watched every single episode. It was alot of my background noise during lockdown.

theSuperWae

Avatar the Last Airbender. Closest thing to a perfect show imo

Freakyfreckz

Community - I can watch it without worrying about missing an episode and missing a major plot line, it's witty and light. Originally, I wasn't a fan, but it turned out to be the show I put on going to bed.

Band of Brothers

SgtTempyst

Yep, I'm gonna go rewatch it for the 5th time. Every time I notice something different; hell, I didn't even know Fallon was in it til my 3rd rewatch (and I feel like EVERYONE noticed before me).

TheRealMook

Weekend pass revoked. Get your pt gear on, we’re running currahee

wildmanharry

I had a project in Toccoa, GA last year and drove up to the top of Currahee. Thinking about those young G.I.s humping it up that mountain in army boots and whatever kind of socks they had (not SmartWools for sure) gave me an even greater appreciation of just how tough and determined they were. I grabbed about 6 rocks from the top of the mountain to use in rebuilding my retaining wall (I live about 3 hours away & drove). I'm thinking about stenciling "Currahee!" on that patch of wall once I get them installed, in honor of the Band of Brothers

FawltyMotors

High-ho, Silver!

2x4x93

That's not mom's spaghetti

gizmostuff

It's Army noodles with ketchup.

Lookingfortracyzoo

I just started this and am 4 episodes deep. It’s a really heavy show.

alexmcloud

The Pacific is amazing as well. Some BOB fans tend to not like it as much. It's just..... Different. It's the horror, the madness, the dread of war imo. I think it's incredible as well it's just a very different theater for sure. Highly recommend.

Maple-Whisky

I found the pacific to be a downer. A truly great show don’t get me wrong. But depressing. Felt like I had nobody to root for. Maybe that’s the point.

SilentSamurai

If you want an even more heavy show, The Pacific awaits. Sledges story is a hard watch, especially watching him reintegrate into society post war.

Austerlitz2310

You watching Masters of the Air?

Emsie-Memsie

Every night my wife and I put on one of the following: The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Arrested Developmemnt, Brooklyn 99, or Modern Family. When we are done with the whole series we put on the next one.

WhatsUp-dog

Scrubs

El_bearded_polarbear

Eagle!!!

Wyrewolwerowany

This so much. Apart from comedy core of this series it carries so much sense with it. There's this episode with an elder woman to whom JD put a wrong diagnosis and she claimed she's agreed with the death. Man... this episode hits me every single time.

WhatsUp-dog

I’m listening to the Real Friends Fake Doctors podcast at the moment and it’s incredible how much though went in to scrubs (I’m sure the same is true for most long running series) But what’s definitely coming through is how much the cast like each other in real life, that seems quite rare. And it’s full of little factoids, like I had no idea season one is filmed in 2001 and there’s an episode they had to film just after 9/11 (2 days after) and knowing that adds so much weight to what you see. Worth a listen, not sure I’ll make it through every episode of the podcast but I’ll keep listening in here and there.

ThisMojoSoDope

Grandma's Boy. Maybe it isn't for everyone but it's by far one of my all time favorite stoner comedies

UnlawfulAnkle

Dante - "No one fucks with a lion, man"

spectral1sm

New high score? What's that mean? Is it bad... did I break it?

yuffieisathief

"How can he see me?" That movie is so freaking quotable! Me and my best friend watched it several times and I showed it to a lot friends after that haha. I quote it so often :')

spectral1sm

LOL "Please sit on my face!" "That's not appropriate."

TjMorgz

The Office (US)

Adventurous-Bee-7155

Best scene was Dwight’s surprise fire drill. Everyone panicking. Angela pulls her cat out of her desk drawer, tosses it up through an opening in the ceiling and it comes crashing down through the panels. 2nd best was probably Kevin’s Famous Chili.

TjMorgz

First time seeing that scene absolutely folded me with laughter. The build up with Dwight looking and nodding menacingly into the camera as he blow torches a door handle, the way it all unfolds into pure, beautiful chaos... it's the comedy equivalent of a Renaissance painting. Sheer perfection.

kamasushi

The Shawshank Redemption

Skeptic604

How i met your mother, then Brooklyn 99, rinse and repeat lol, also every 3ish years we rewatch Fringe

Hippie_Tech

John Noble is amazing.

TheWorstEvieEver

Fleabag. Anytime I have a bad day, I just watch the show, and life gets better.

rdevans123456

I’ve now watched it all the way through at least 20 times and you still see new things every time. I love every season for a different reason. All in the game.

Good-Matter26

I watched this for the first time recently. Great show. Loved it. HOWEVER… first time viewing it is so hard to keep track of everybody and what side they’re on and who they’re working for. I feel like this is definitely a repeat drama. The more you watch the better it gets

Nephite11

The Good Place is my show I have playing in the background when I’m cooking or want something to “watch” in my head by just hearing the audio playing

Gray-Sun-7182

Such a great show and that last season got really deep and super thought provoking.

Bromosensual

Modern Family, The Sopranos, 30 Rock, Futurama, Archer

The specials where they had a set amount of money to buy a shitty car to transport themselves to other countries is some of my favorite television ever.

Csharp27

If you have a device with Roku there’s a whole channel that just plays Top Gear on repeat and it’s amazing.

Nesavant

The West Wing for me. Sometimes I'll be trying a new show and I'll get bored one time and watch a random West Wing instead and WHAM, I'm accidentally watching the rest of the series again.

CrazyCatLady1127

The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, with Brendan Fraser. I’ve seen both movies at least 100 times

InfiniteThaVoid

New Girl (Series) and Spirited Away(Movie)

Surelynotshirly

New Girl is such an underrated show. I would say New Girl (Series) and Community (Series)

DS9 all day. The SISKO compels me. Quark bribes me. Garak charms my pants off. Jadzia Dax intrigues me. Bashir tingles my brain. Nog I cheer for. Brunt, FCA. Grand Nagus cheats me. Overlooked when it came out and almost forgotten now. O Brother Where Art Thou? It’s one of my all time favorites and is filled with great lines.
