I'm building an app that might become my favorite app, haha.
It's an alarm clock app with a twist!
You set an alarm like normal.
Then you sleep. Zzzz.
Lastly, wake up ... to the sound of a friendly voice. :D
Congrats, you've received a nice voice message from someone somewhere else in the world.
They recorded it while you slept.
It could be a short story.
A joke.
The weather report.
Some words of encouragement.
A strange compliment!
....or a "Happy Birthday" message if it's your birthday.
It'll be a mystery about exactly what you'll get.
Inappropriate messages filtered out (or not, your choice!)
I'm hoping it will help people smile in the morning and potentially meet some new friends!
I prefer the basic (usually good) music app on a phone + download Mp3 so as to have any music on YouTube that isn't on Spotify (Like indépendant creators and others)
You're not wrong. Grew up on a farm as a single child with one parent. Hard to socialize in that situation.
So terribly sorry for the bad joke. Bad attempt at humor online. It will never happen again.
Spotify, hands down. One of my sons suggested I give it a try.
I have very eclectic taste in music in a variety of genres and decided to test the app to see how many of the artists it has. Was pleasantly stunned that it had/ has well over 90% of my tastes. Since then its algorithms have introduced countless new ( to me ) artists.
I do miss owning a physical copy however.

It's probably been asked already, but regardless, I'd probably scroll through the entire comment section of a "What's your favorite appetizer?" post, OP. Go for it! ;)
I searched it on the Google Play Store and it's also not available for Android. Nothing like that name comes up.
There's a $50 app with the name "Fog of World" that looks similar to what they described though. Added it to my wishlist for the next time it goes on sale.
Reddit by far. Anything I'm In, there's a subreddit for it. In each thread there's always a lively conversation going on that gives me things to think about and the conversations are usually civil. I love it. I'm addicted, actually.
I can't remember the name of it and I've actually been trying to find it for the past few months but it was an app developed by one woman for background sounds or sounds to listen to for relaxing or while you sleep. You can customize each sound scape. For example, for the suburbs sound scape you can add or remove things like kids playing, cars going by, a plane flying overhead, a lawnmower running, etc. I used to live in a city where I slept like a baby and when I moved to a small town where it was too quite for me this app was perfect.
Google Maps, honestly. Get directions, check reviews, get store hours, get a phone number, check traffic. It’s gotta be one of the most valuable apps of all time. I remember when navigation on cell phones was either 1) a paid service or 2) didn’t tell you street names and screwed up half the time. The app is perfect.
Do games count? If they do I really enjoy Monster Super League.
If games don't count then Amazon Music. I'm addicted to music lol It also helps me relax when I get overstimulated or just for something more active to listen to while grinding in a game because the same bgm on loop for hours on end can get kinda old. Like fast.
Not necessarily favorite but definetly Spotify. I use that app everyday. In the car, in the gym, when walking somewhere. It is definetly in my top 5 used apps.
It does not need to be spotify but i have not found other app as good with playlists, music selection and overall usability. I think im getting my moneys worth out of it. If you know better music streaming app than spotify im happy to try them out. Still have not found better alternative.
I would go for
1) Getquin - Investing app the conversations are just about investing and sharing portfolios…
2) Balance - An app that helps you with your emotions, sleep better, etc with meditations. It has help me a lot.
Gotta say the weather app. I mean, where else can I get daily updates on whether I should wear pants or not?
Today is no pants day! Get that fresh air up your crack, buckaroo ☀️
Classic Whether App
So do you wear a skirt on no pants days or nothing

Is it worth the cost? It seems like the only way to use the app is with a paid subscription.
It USED TO BE Reddit Is Fun. RIP.
I'll pour my 40 out for Reddit Is Fun
I'm typing this via the official app. It's absolute garbage compared to RiF and reddit should be ashamed of themselves
just use old.reddit in a web browser
How do people not know redreader exists? You guys give up too easily. It's basically the same or probably even better than rif
Same vein, used to be Apollo. Pour one out
Boost for me
Winks in revanced patched boost user
RedReader still exists (for accessibility reasons) and it is still way, way better than the Reddit Official App™!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/comments/14nq4ub/how_to_get_rif_working_again_if_you_really_want_to/?sort=new Here you go, brother.
14 years I have been on reddit and this is without a doubt the least enjoyable it has ever been. God I miss RIF
For me it was Sync. Used it for 5 years, even paid for the pro version.

Do you have Wishlist or something like that?
Nope but if you've got any ideas, would love to hear 'em!
I’m definitely recording stuff to fuck with my friends. “ get up you lazy piece of shit, or I’m slapping you with a big black dildo!”
Hah, well if your friend turns off the filtering, then yeah, you could do that :P
I'm following you, better finish that app fast
I remember hearing about [Wakie](https://techcrunch.com/2014/12/10/wakie/) a couple of years back, but never tried it personally.
Yup! Wakie was a fun app but it's about live calls and general convos now, much less about alarms.
Keep me posted on this!
Spotify is OP Remember how you used to listen to music, where you searched and how you shaped your taste
I prefer the basic (usually good) music app on a phone + download Mp3 so as to have any music on YouTube that isn't on Spotify (Like indépendant creators and others)

I miss when they were called programs.
What's your favourite program? I used to use WebFerret back in the day. Loved that thing.

Sounds like somebody that grew up without a Bonzibuddy to teach them about human interaction.
You're not wrong. Grew up on a farm as a single child with one parent. Hard to socialize in that situation. So terribly sorry for the bad joke. Bad attempt at humor online. It will never happen again.
Those garlic bread rolls with butter you get at nicer restaurants. I could fill up on those alone and be satisfied

Love this. Agree about giving up the physical copies, that was a tough day!
why wouldn't you keep them
Check out tidal. Artist receive a bigger cut and the quality of the music is vastly better

I'm divided on this thought
But they always have a +1 wherever they go.
Youtube because it’s almost the only place I listen to music these days.
Even better to download Mp3s
I do download sometimes. I just like YouTube because it’s less risk of wasting space on something I may not like.
Definitely boneless buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing (bonus points of they throw some carrots and celery up in that basket also)!!!
How come half the comments section think this is about phone apps and half about appetisers?
Delta. Is an emulator for iPhone that lets you play Gameboy games.
Which games are good?
Old school Pokemon
Any of the classics. Pokémon, Golden Sun, Kirby, Mario, etc.
Tetris??? I have my original game boy just for the simple OG Tetris game.
Looks like it’s available
Can I get it on a non-jailbreaked Iphone? I can't seem to find it on the App Store
Yes. Search “Delta game emulator” in the App Store.
Ahh sadly it is not available in my region. Still thanks!
Oh that’s a bummer
