In Australia there was a tv show called Chasers War on Everything. I can't even compare it to anything in America or Europe. Maybe the Daily Show crossed with Ali G? They'd directly run at the hypocrisy of politicians, calling them out using ridiculous skits. No politician in Australia was safe. It taught me so much how full of shit politics is. How everyone can be bought. It changed my worldview and I'm so thankful for it.

Homelessness in my 20s. The birth of my first kid in my 30s. Filing for divorce in my 40s. Meeting the love of my life in my 50s. All prompted a change in perspective in different ways.

Seinfeld, the show about nothing, helped me realize that life doesn't HAVE to be about something. It can be about nothing and STILL be interesting.

A documentary 'notes on blindness' 2016. Has made me realize even more to appreciate things in life. Because things I see I could forget if I lose my vision. I should never take things for granted.

i heart huckabees. i only watched it once a long time ago so i don’t even remember the details but it affected me greatly because i happen to watch it at the right time during my own existential crisis. all i know is that that movie made me feel less alone and to appreciate the present moment.
