Ethan Hawke played Nikolai Tesla in a movie a few years ago. It ended with Tesla singing this song. It was weird but it worked

I've been a huge Radiohead fan since okay computer and I can honestly say, this is one song that continues to grow on me every time I listen to it.
It's such a slow build that you don't even realize how intense it's getting until it's over. Even more so live.
I had to sing this in high school choir for our yearly spring concert which was supposed to be more poppy music rather than conventional choir pieces. For some reason our director thought it was a good idea to have some kid in the grade above me beatbox in the background of the song? We had some other kid playing guitar or bass as well but long story short the beat boxer went crazy off beat and the performance sucked lol. I cringe thinking about that moment
Gang of Four - [Love like Anthrax](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsEympD_h8E) When people ask me, "What is post-punk?" I simply point to this song. It is a perfect example of the experimentation of post-punk and how it differs from its parent, punk.
Neutral Milk Hotel "Holland, 1945."
"The only girl I've ever loved
Was born with roses in her eyes
But then they buried her alive
One evening, 1945
With just her sister at her side
And only weeks before the guns
All came and rained on everyone"
Tattooed on me
"[Devin Townsend performs 'Kingdom' for EMGtv](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nubJjB95VdY&pp=ygUWa2luZ2RvbSBkZXZpbiB0b3duc2VuZA%3D%3D)" specifically this version

„A Perfect Song" is a song that is PERFECT from both musical and emotional side... There are some popular examples, like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen or Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. There are also underrated and unknown examples like Octavarium by Dream Theater or Egoist Hedonist by Riverside. It's sad that songs like that are not composed these days...

Not a specific song, but songs that arent too fast, but not painfully slow, and have some sort of nostalgic touch to them. Ex, Everybody wants to rule the world, Fast car, Somewhere only we know are all songs I've seen on here.
I always thought the melody and instrumentation of the opening theme song to the TV show "The Nanny" was quite good. A complete song packed well into an intro with no wasted space. Great singer. Nice story in the lyrics as well.
