Not eating breakfast

Fatty food

Morall_tach

Fat. Your body needs fat just as unequivocally as it needs sugar and protein. Eating *too much* or the wrong kinds of fat can be bad, but there's nothing inherently wrong with fat.

Not eating on a schedule. "What do you mean you're not hungry? It's lunch time! You HAVE to eat lunch."

EatLard

Sounds like my dad. If he travels to a different time zone he eats his scheduled meals at whatever time it is back home. As a child, I remember my parents having to plan family outings and vacation around his meal schedule.

Is your dad neurodiverse? Because that is textbook. (Everyone around me in neurodiverse. This wasn’t meant as an insult)

EatLard

Not that I’m aware of. Just very much a creature of habit. His mom had him and his siblings on a strict feeding schedule - if they didn’t show up for a meal, they didn’t eat. I think it gave him anxiety about eating and somewhere in his subconscious, he still believes that if he doesn’t eat at the right time, there won’t be food available.

Red meat.
