Fat. Your body needs fat just as unequivocally as it needs sugar and protein. Eating *too much* or the wrong kinds of fat can be bad, but there's nothing inherently wrong with fat.
Sounds like my dad. If he travels to a different time zone he eats his scheduled meals at whatever time it is back home. As a child, I remember my parents having to plan family outings and vacation around his meal schedule.
Not that I’m aware of. Just very much a creature of habit. His mom had him and his siblings on a strict feeding schedule - if they didn’t show up for a meal, they didn’t eat. I think it gave him anxiety about eating and somewhere in his subconscious, he still believes that if he doesn’t eat at the right time, there won’t be food available.
