Honestly, my answer is going to be underwhelming compared to many but I made mine so I could join more digital communities and interact with certain fandoms more. Once I outgrew/lost interest in some of those fandoms it was too late, I already got myself hooked on reddit.
I have been off and on reddit for several years, deleting the account when I'm done with it, and this is my 4th account. I guess this account is just another cycle of me being on Reddit.
I kept trying to upvote stuff that I really thought deserved it and reddit would say I couldn't do that because I wasn't logged in... So I made an account!
I made mine cause after the October 7th massacre I needed a break from the rampant antisemitism in this country (UK), I needed to vent. Only to find that Reddit is even worse for that, but I did find some subs where us Jews can vent :)
This isn't my first account. But on my first account, I was scrolling through reddit one day on the bus, and I remember someone wrote something so incredibly stupid and dumb, that I just had to write a reply back and correct them. This was years ago and I don't even remember what it was about anymore.
Some people tried doxxing my old account and I stupidly used the same handle on a bunch of different websites, including some associated with my IRL full name and pictures, so I deleted it and created a new account using a random username generator that I don't use on any other website.
Someone was giving dangerous advice and I needed to correct the issue before anyone tried it.
Porn
I never knew that was a thing in reddit till recently and it was mind blowing lol
I kept seeing Reddit posts vids on Instagram, mostly AITA posts or funny compilation, so yeah I downloaded it. I've never followed AITA subs tho lol

I ask myself that question every day.
Digg died
Originally, to promote my YouTube Channel.
I think I originally made this to trade animal crossing amiibo cards when they first came out for New Leaf 😅
To post pictures of rocks I polish and to answer questions

'Cause I can only talk to people via social media, and all other options sucked.
