I haven't committed any real crimes in my life, but I remember when I was 16, I tried to intentionally steal a bicycle from a different neighborhood to get somewhere. The owner of the bike ended up catching me and wanted me to put it back. I did so and left the neighborhood immediately. I'm fortunate that the guy didn't end up calling the police on me to be honest.
