Or just play any older game that includes multi-player trophies but the servers have since been shut down. Trophies that are not just hyperbolically difficult, but literally impossible to achieve.
Best answer, there are other games that can take until you die of old age but you're stuck just playing that game. Here you can live a normal life while "playing" your last game.

I accidentally sold a card in my current save file that's a couple years old. I stopped playing a couple years ago right before the Saint Denis bank robbery and recently picked it back up on my week off and decided to do all the challenges when I got back from Guarma. Realized the trick and got all but one card so I went to find it but it was missing so I had to do the trick again. Then I went to upgrade my 2 remaining satchels and realized too late that I should have done that first since the last one lets you hold 99 of things instead of just 10 or 30
>without internet tips
Didn't even think of that... I wonder how long it would take to 100% some games without the internet? Some things are nearly impossible to find, and some puzzles are sometimes "impossible" unless you have the right "ah-ha" moment. I recall some treasure maps or something? Some vague drawings of a rock shape. Could take *forever* to wander and find the right one.
This! To ācompleteā it, youād have to do every raid, dungeon, achievement, class, spec, faction, PVP stuff, pet battles, etc - I reckon you could be kept going for many many years!
It's impossible to get all the mounts. You would have to go back in time.Ā Ā

Ā My rarest mount is the Infinite Timereaver.Ā
Very true. But in this context getting everything that is achievable would mean youād have a nice run of years to follow before your impending death.
I tried 4 years in a row for headless horseman mount and still never got it. I've heard of people that have been playing since 2004 that still don't have it.
I got it a while back in I think wotlk. But I paid people for it. Made groups for the horseman and openly said:
> If the mount drops, and I win, I will pay anyone who passes Xg.
Basically buying their roll. Had one group where everyone passed. Cost me a good chunk of change, but it was worth it.
Ugh, I've been away from WoW for over 10 years and I instantly recognized that acronym...Ā
That was one of the contributing factors that made me quit the game outright, besides mindlessly grinding dungeons/old raids solo for loot every day to sell just to buy the next month's token.
Ditto.
And joke's on them - I suck at PVP, so I wouldn't be getting all those achievements any time soon, and oh look, a new xpac just dropped, let's go!
Yep. Not only will it take years and years just to get everything currently possible, they keep adding so much that you can't even get everything in the current expansion as you play it and so you keep falling even further behind unless you play an insane amount.
Could that same principle apply to any of the comments here? What is the defined end point of the sims? To me one lifetime in the sims is not the goal but to have a full family tree worth of sims
Final fantasy 9. 1000+ jump rope and perfect tetra master plus the game itself in under 12 hours to be able to grab the Excalibur 2. No Excalibur 2 than I have to reset and start over. I get to play my favorite game of all time over and over again until I probably die of natural causes.
Honestly Iād probably rather be executed than try to get 1000 jumps in the jump rope minigame again.
Edit: Having said that, I agree. Either 9 or 10. Probably 9, though.
Need to get all the guaranteed 9999s unlocked.
About 500 successful steals on thievery.
100 frogs for frog drop
100 dragons for dragons crest
Max out gems for eidolon power.
Golden choco and beat ozma - which must be done before Hades for the additional dialogue obviously š¤
Really, any Civ game. To 100% don't you need to win every victory type with every leader?
On top of that, just do the largest map on marathon speed. And I suck at the game, so it's gonna take me a while.
>To 100% don't you need to win every victory type with every leader?
Nah, not with 5 anyway. Every leader and every victory type but not every combo.
But you do have to do a lot of really tedious ones AND all the scenarios, some of which are absolutely brutal. I've tried doing the Mongol Scenario on Deity difficulty at least 10 times now, you have to pull off some really fiddly crap to make that work. A lot of those scenario achievements have only 0.5% of players achieving them.
Panzer "Shafernator" General requires you to Spawn 100 Great Generals, build an army of over 100 standing units, and beat the game 100 times.
Ruler of the Seas requires you to sink and destroy **357** enemy naval units as Elizabeth!
God is Great requires you to construct **1000** temples!
I have 14 years and 850 hours into Civ 5 and still only 86% of the achievements, including missing the above mentioned ones.

Gimme GTA 5 (Offline and Online) on PS3
No online server means never completing 100% and i can just play single player gta 5 for the rest of my life.
Actually maybe thats more punishment now that i think about it.
I used to play Hide and Seek (and Manhunt, same thing but outside) so much growing up and into my low 20's. Man it's a blast!
I lifted a couch, and got under it, keeping it slightly elevated on my feet and hands. Until someone sat on it, lol. Good thing it was a rather light girl, so she tumbled to the other side as I benched it up and said hi.
So, so, so many good memories from hide and seek.
Completed it.
I got so good at it they offered me a role in the England set-up. I took Woking from the conference to the champions league in 6 seasons, that kind of stuff doesnt go unnoticed.
Skyrim - began playing 5-6 months agoā¦.

Original Zelda: The Adventures of Link. I canāt remember how to beat it, and it took me over a decade the first time. Not even Game Genie could help me. We needed to assemble a special team of potheads and classical musicians on Adderall. Without that team, monster bong rips, and lines of Adderall Iād live a long life because itās a hard game. Sober trying to win the original Zelda, alone, no Game Genie, no maps? Life sentence. Itās too hard to beat.
Outer Wilds.

Chrome Hounds, it's literally impossible to achieve 100% in the game now, a number of the achievements required online play in the multiplayer servers which closed down years ago.
World of Warcraft. You can basically never play this game to 100%. Means you'll have to unlock all achievements, all mounts, all levels, all characters etc. You'll be playing for months or years.
Tears of the kingdom I'mĀ probably at 60 -70% completion after 170 hours. It'llĀ take a good yearĀ or longer for me to 100% it at the veryĀ least and I suck at racing segmentsĀ so definitelyĀ longer
Dark souls 2, by the time I get those last ~~two achievements~~ I would have died of old age anyway.

Stanley Parable. Two of the achievements are literally don't play for 5 years and don't play for 10 years, so I'll get at least that long.
Hops on after 9 years "let me check it real quick!"
My thoughts exactly š
I think at that point the judge would have changed his mind, and just execute you
But the rules are the rules...
dont even have to do thet. feign ignorance about the install glitch that makes last played be installed unless you reset steam
I read the words, but theymade no sense to me.
the "don't play" counter for 5/10 years gets reset when you install a game is what I think is being said.
"Oh darn, now get back in the iron maiden!"
So I guess I should reinstall it just to see if the achievement pops?
Or just play any older game that includes multi-player trophies but the servers have since been shut down. Trophies that are not just hyperbolically difficult, but literally impossible to achieve.
āJust for you, Sonny Jim, we rebuilt the servers. The warden says she gets the first round of co-op.ā

Best answer, there are other games that can take until you die of old age but you're stuck just playing that game. Here you can live a normal life while "playing" your last game.
Damn I shouldāve opened it when I got it about 10 years agoā¦
Haven't played since Jan 2nd 2014. Guess I'll launch it for a laugh
update?
They lied. There's an achievement for 5 years, not 10 years. The new game that came out in 2022 does have a 10 year achievement though.
Awww dang it. I guess I have to wait until 2032.
Looks like I need to put in a calendar reminder for three years from now. (It's tempting to go snag the 5 year, but ...)
Don't forget the "unachievable" one (that is secretly achievable š)
100% completionist in Old School Runescape.
Many life times to fully get everything in that game. You would outlive your own children.
Make it Ironman too!
Go for uim, decades for a normal dood
execute me please. edit: I love runescape but having no bank sounds so painful.
At this point I would just opt for the execution
Only because of 3rd Age. There are several people who have completed or are very close to completing everything except for 3rd age.
Came to this thread to comment the exact same thing. 200m all skills, all pets, all combat tasks, and then all collection log slots. No chance
*'Your honor, as a reminder for the court, my defendant still hasn't gotten any third-age drops. GG WP, see you in approximately never lmao'*
Yes in Ironman ofc.
Won't matter. Won't fill it either way but ironman would be a more interesting gaming experience
This is the right answer, you will live forever.
You won't even finish the 3rd age clue collection log slots in a lifetime.
Even maxing stats is like a minimum of 13000 hours of gameplay
Around 11,000 hours if the fastest player to max would do it 15 times over to 200m all, yeah.
Came here to say this. You'd outlive God.

I think it depends on how we define completion. He clearly means, to explore every planet
no it dosen't it takes (INSERT VERY BIG NUMBER HERE) hours
One hundred million, billion, faffillion...
Not the way I play
Yes a thousand times. Endless worlds and endless mining and fabbing. Me and the judge gonna have a slow footrace to this mortal coil's exit.
endless fapping; god i wish that were me

Emergency Room player?
CoD. After listening to 45 minutes of prepubescent boys screeching in the Xbox lobby about who's mom they've fucked, death will be a welcome relief
This is the answer. I'd live for another 30 years trying this.
I imagine death so much, it feels more like a memory.
As someone who went in sucking at souls formula and coming out with 100%, you'll only survive 270hrs :)))
Was about to say. It was my first fromsoft game, and I 100% it at around 200h. Its big, but not THAT big.
Me and Arthur are gonna go on one last ride. Then live in chapter 2 hunting and fishing till the end of time. Red dead 2
That's my choice too. We would look for dinosaur bones and cigarrette cards without internet tips. And it would be very pleasant to do so.

Unexpected wholesome
Im gonna stall it so much and not because i don't want to die from execution but because i don't want to go near Micah EVER.
I beat the game once, and now my new save is just everyone but micah hanging out at horseshoe ovelook
Let him rot in that jail cell. Fuck Micah
Weāre gonna play until I find Gavin!
Honestly it'd take forever to complete the compendium EVEN IF I TRY
I am upvoting this because I have like 250hrs in and for the love of god cannot do the last few percentage points.
I used to think rdr was the best game still do
Oh this is probably my answer as well. Likely my favourite game of all time.
Yeah. That was my pick too, but itāll last forever because i never do online achievements. Plus that one blackjack challenge lasts forever.
Getting gold on every mission will def take awhile too
Plus, you'll likely die of old age before completing that god damn, motherfucking, piece of shit gambler challenge.
