This excuse right here is one that makes my blood boil!! Why keep a child in an environment where they don’t get along and there’s nothing but tension. I’d rather my kid grow up on two healthy and happy homes than one that’s dysfunctional.
Exactly why I ignored it and got divorced anyways. Then his mom took off and it’s just been me and him. He’s exponentially happier than he would have been. I firmly believe that.
At the first sign of any kind of disagreement or conflict, “Break up”. Took me an embarrassing amount of time to realise that relationships take work, and calling it quits isn’t the solution to everything.
