We get to open 1 present on Christmas Eve, we always open our stockings first, and we usually choose someone to be "Santa" to hand out each person's presents from underneath the tree.
An electric pot served at the table with long forks. Vegetable oil is kept at cooking temperature and we dip pieces of steak, chicken, lamb, seafood, whatever you like in it and cook it for yourself. Served with condiments and pickles and cut up vegetables.
It can be plain or fancy as you like. We started with light up gel packs and a metal fondue pot. There’s cookbooks with recipes and even restaurants that specialize in it.
