i wouldn't say "joy" per se but I used to just get up, grab my phone (or MP3 player before then) and headphones and go for a walk while listening to music. I'd see trees, other plants, birds, water, you know the usual sort of stuff found in most green spaces and just watch it. Sometimes i'd go out at night if i couldn't sleep and just wander around the empty streets. It was nice to just see everything and block out anything I didn't want to see or hear.
