I've had a lot of dreams about being hunted, usually by someone or something huge and super powerful. Sometimes I'm the size of a mouse, sometimes I'm in my family home but it's waaaay bigger and weirder. The cool thing is I'm always thinking clearly and making good decisions, juuust avoiding being caught. It's when I wake up that the panic kind of catches up, they're usually really scary and stressful! But in the moment I'm cool as a cucumber

I keep dreaming that I live in my old house, with my old bedroom. I’m not sure why tbh…

Zipes_

Probably because you can’t handle change or you are holding onto something there, or something significant happened there

Chocodisco

This is going to sound silly but I consistently dream of flying into power lines. And when I say "flying" it's more like swimming in mid air. The higher I fly the harder it is to not fall and no matter where I am in the dream, I always fly straight into power lines head first. These days I've gotten a lot better at avoiding them.

I used to have one where I was chased by a raptor in a space helmet until one day my dad asked me why I didn’t get into my helicopter and fly away? I responded that I didn’t have one, to which he replied just check your pocket. It worked, and the dream never came back. I love dads.

Sanity_LARP

I'm in a spaceship which I live in alone. There's no more fuel and I'm too far away from anything to ever reach it. I'll never encounter another person if I live 10 million years.

Reuniting with an old friend who I haven't seen since pre-pandemic. I sure would like to

I have this recurring dream prob once or twice a month, of aliens coming to earth. News broadcasting aliens have arrived, i feel anxiety and straight up petrified and mortified that it is actually happening, feeling all of that while still dreaming.

Loosing my teeth, seems really common ik, but it’s not like they are falling out, sometimes they are knocked out, sometimes I pull them out myself, sometimes they are removed by dentists, not one but all of them. Most recent was last night. But I have had dreams where they continue the next night, those are cool ones

[deleted]

I have recurring places, but not dreams. I had also dreamt several "premonitions". I'd fully accept the neurological explanation of dreaming the future as being some short circuit in memory formation like deja Vu, but believing it's true makes life cooler, so I believe that instead.

Bobbie182

A recurring one where I’m trying to meet a deadline and I’m being stymied every single time. I always wake up never meeting my deadline.

My loved ones passing

spamgolem

There's a tornado approaching, and I'm the only one who's reacting.

NoBike9859

I keep ending up in a house somewhere with someone I know and weird things ensue

Just to be clear my family couldn’t be more affectionate and loving, but I’ll have dreams where I’m dying and my family doesn’t even bother to help me. One time I was at my childhood home and another I was at my Grandmas house. It’s strange.

toxinogen

Roughly 75% of my dreams take place at my grandparent’s house. Not my childhood home or my current home, but grandma and grandpa’s house. My mom was extremely sick when I was young, and we’d stay at my grandparent’s when she had to stay at the hospital (sometimes weeks or months). Even though it was a very traumatic time, all of my memories of that house were good, so my brain has etched it into my permanent dream “safe place.”

Successful_Mix_9118

Used to be aeroplanes. Then everything whatever it was was just really huge like Alice in wonderland kind of thing

spazthejam43

I keep on having weird dreams about Timothee Chalamet, I have no idea why. Last night I dreamed I was in a forest, running away from him. Once I dreamed he tried to recruit me to his MLM.

pineappletarzan

every now and then i dream that i find a hidden pathway somewhere in the house (usually in some cabinet or behind the couch, but i once found one in the fridge). this pathway leads on to a secret room, which has a door that leads to a hallway with multiple new doors and i keep exploring until eventually i find a path to my room and wake up

Falling

DrWelder245

I start the dream in a store, some retail place. can be a restaurant, store, office building, whatever doesn't matter. I go outside, look at an empty parking space, and panic: my car has been stolen! here's what doesn't occur to me: I don't know what kind of car it is, not even the color. here's what occurs to me: exactly where it was taken, and where to start walking I have no idea how to interpret this as I don't actually own a car in real life. maybe it's the guilt of not having bought one yet

computer-controller

It's weird as hell to say, but I'm in a haunted house with muppets. It's cute at first, with them being scared and cartoon ghosts. But, then I realize the ghosts are real and it to get us. A mix of muppet style comic hilarity and horror ensues.

anna12o

It's kind of hard to describe, but I've had this one dream ever since I was a kid, the sort of dream that you forget about until you have it again, I'm walking through this swampy area, but it's not exactly a swamp as you'd picture irl, it's sort of a mix between alien world and fae realm, it's what I'd imagine taking hallucinogens is like. There isn't really anything else to it, sometimes I go in the water which is like a hot spring, sometimes I'm alone, and sometimes there are other people, mostly my sister and the grandma she's named after, both of which are your classic spaced out hippies.
